Well I do too. Especially when you realise – at least by some accounts – that the gorilla was actually trying to protect the child not kill it. But I don’t think in the outrage stakes any of us can quite compete with the angry black people in social media forums who have been blaming the incident on entrenched white privilege. I like how the writer of this article, the filthy libtarded tree hugger he or she is, is so much more qualified to know how that gorilla will react when confronted with removal of the child. F' you, libtards and your warm fuzzy loving empathetic fantasy world you live in. Real Life doesn't always play out as WEAK as you've evolved.
From reported first person accounts, cell phone videos and statements from gorilla specialists that were all included in the news stories I've read, would be my guess.
Jim Fowler, you know - the animal guy was on this morning. His take on it was that they did the right thing killing the gorilla instead of trying to tranquilize it, mostly due to the unknown reaction from the gorilla when being shot by a dart. Plus it takes a while for the tranq to take effect. I agree. Apparently the mom only looked away for a few seconds, there's no evidence she was neglectful.
You mean other than her child ending up in the gorilla pit. But you're right. New rule. If the mother looks away less than, say, five seconds, she's not at fault if her child ingests poison, runs into traffic, sticks a paper clip into an electrical socket, pulls the trigger on a loaded gun, whatever.
Can you imagine if the mother was an off duty cop and she looked away for just one second... or if she was on duty and she looked away for one second... and OMG, an animal died. Can you imagine just how assholish Puckard would have been?
An old gorilla joke … but maybe you will enjoy it again. A man wakes up one morning to find a gorilla on his roof.

So he looks up the yellow pages and sure enough, there's an ad for "Gorilla Removers".
He calls the number, and the gorilla remover says he will be there in 30 minutes.
The gorilla remover arrives and gets out of his van.
He's got a ladder, a baseball bat, a shotgun and a huge, ferocious looking pitt bull.
The homeowner asks, what are you going to do?
I'm going to put up this ladder against the roof.
Then I'm going to go up there and knock the gorilla off the roof with the bat.
When the gorilla falls off, the pit bull is trained to grab the gorilla's testicles and lock his jaws on them.
The gorilla will be subdued enough for me to lock him in the cage in the back of the van.
The gorilla remover then hands the shotgun to the homeowner.
The homeowner asks what the shotgun is for.
The gorilla remover says if the gorilla knocks ME off the roof, shoot the damn pit bull.
