Detroit, MI — Three of Detroit’s finest, Officer Gaines, Officer Paul, and Officer Morrison, are named in a recent lawsuit after they entered a woman’s home, hunted down her dogs, and murdered them all. The officers were serving a search warrant in search of one of the most beneficial plants on the planet which is currently outlawed in the state of Michigan. After cops murdered all the dogs, they came to the owner of the home, Nikita Smith, and said, “I should have killed you too,” according to the lawsuit. According to Smith, when the cops came to the door to tell her they had a warrant to look for marijuana, she asked them if she could secure the dogs. Smith put two dogs in the basement and locked one in the bathroom. But the fact that the dogs were secured, did not matter to these cruel officers. “They went around and killed them. Like a death squad,” Smith’s lawyer Chris Olson told the Daily News on Thursday. As the Daily News reports: After officers entered the home, one of the dogs was able to get out of the basement, and harmlessly sat next to Smith. As Smith reached for the dog, officers shot the animal “multiple times,” the lawsuit charges. Smith watched from less than 10 feet away as the dog, named Debo, died on the floor. Three officers then went to the basement and fatally shot a dog named Mama, who was pregnant. Mama was quiet and not attacking the cops at the time, according to the lawsuit. When the sadistic cops found the last dog in the bathroom, according to the suit, they discussed if they should kill it or not. It was locked in a bathroom. “Should we do that one too?” one cop asked. “Yes,” replied the other as Officer Gaines and Officer Paul opened fire, shooting through the door multiple times killing the dog on the other side, named Smoke. “Did you see that? I got that one good!” Officer Gaines said as he laughed, according to the lawsuit. According to Smith, after the officers killed all of her dogs, one of them walked up to her and said, “I should have killed you too.” Then, another officer told her, “you could have been killed.” Pictures from the scene show Smith’s home riddled with bullet holes. They also show the tragically brutal aftermath of Smoke flailing around the bathroom as officers shot through the door. Blood quite literally painted the walls. “I couldn’t believe my eyes,” Olson said. Cops incorrectly believed that Smith’s home was a drug house and during the raid, they found only marijuana. “They had a warrant to search the house,” Olson said. “That we don’t really quarrel with. But when you search the house, you can’t go in the house and kill all the dogs.” Smith was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana — a misdemeanor. For possessing a plant, police officers felt it was just to break into Smith’s home, kill her dogs, kidnap her, and throw her in a cage — and this is called ‘Justice’ in the land of the free. The charges against Smith, however, were later thrown out as the cops who broke into her home and murdered her dogs never bothered to show up to court. Cannabis has been shown to kill cancer cells, save the lives of countless epileptic children, treat PTSD, heal bones, treat brain trauma, and a slew of other uses science is only beginning to understand. And yet, the only thing dangerous about this seemingly miraculous plant is that police will kidnap, cage, or kill you or your pets for possessing it.

You really are a simpleton if you believe that smoking cannabis is the only way to reap its beneficial effects. Yeah, I guess the National Cancer Institute is full of shit. In the most recent update to the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) website included a listing of studies, which indicated anti-tumor effects of cannabis treatment. Preclinical studies of cannabinoids have investigated the following activities: Antitumor activity The NCI, part of the U.S. Department of Health, advises that ‘cannabinoids may be useful in treating the side effects of cancer and cancer treatment’ by smoking, eating it in baked products, drinking herbal teas or even spraying it under the tongue. ***** Hey - you gonna go all "Reefer Madness" on us now?
It all depends on what the definition of shit, is!!! While the above-displayed quote does indeed appear on Cancer.gov, this does not mean that cannabis has been proved to kill cancer in humans. In fact, the NCI clarified the referenced statement by saying that insufficient evidence exists to recommend cannabis for use by cancer patients: “There is not enough evidence to recommend that patients inhale or ingest Cannabis as a treatment for cancer-related symptoms or side effects of cancer therapy.” It should also be noted that NCI's claim that "cannabis kills cancer" cells is based on preclinical studies (research using animals to find out if a drug, procedure, or treatment is likely to be useful). While cannabis and cannabinoids have been studied in clinical trials (research involving human test subjects) for ways to manage the side effects of cancer, Cancer.gov reports that: “No clinical trials of Cannabis as a treatment for cancer in humans have been found in the CAM on PubMed database maintained by the National Institutes of Health.” Cannabis and cannabinoids have been studied in clinical trials for ways to manage side effects of cancer and cancer therapies. Cannabis and cannabinoids may [repeat: MAY] have benefits in treating the symptoms of cancer or the side effects of cancer therapies. There is growing interest in treating children for symptoms such as nausea with Cannabis and cannabinoids, although studies are limited. Accordingly, the FDA has not yet approved cannabis as a treatment for cancer: “The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved Cannabis or cannabinoids for use as a cancer treatment.”

In one study, the researchers determined that it would take a concentration of cannabinoids of approximately 10 µmol/L to cause the death breast cancer cells in cell culture. This converts to around 3.14mg/L of THC. So, you’d have to assume that to kill any breast cancer cells, you’d need at least a blood level of 3.14 mg/L to achieve breast cancer cell death. So how close to that 3.14 mg/L can we get by just smoking a joint or two? According to research, smoking one joint will give you a blood level of THC of around 1.3-6.4 ng/mL serum, or about .00013-.00064 mg/L. • Studies in mice and rats have shown that cannabinoids may inhibit tumor growth by causing cell death, blocking cell growth, and blocking the development of blood vessels needed by tumors to grow. Laboratory and animal studies have shown that cannabinoids may be able to kill cancer cells while protecting normal cells.
• A study in mice showed that cannabinoids may protect against inflammation of the colon and may have potential in reducing the risk of colon cancer, and possibly in its treatment.
• A laboratory study of delta-9-THC in hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) cells showed that it damaged or killed the cancer cells. The same study of delta-9-THC in mouse models of liver cancer showed that it had antitumor effects. Delta-9-THC has been shown to cause these effects by acting on molecules that may also be found in non-small cell lung cancer cells and breast cancer cells.
• A laboratory study of cannabidiol (CBD) in estrogen receptor positive and estrogen receptor negative breast cancer cells showed that it caused cancer cell death while having little effect on normal breast cells. Studies in mouse models of metastatic breast cancer showed that cannabinoids may lessen the growth, number, and spread of tumors.
• A laboratory study of cannabidiol (CBD) in human glioma cells showed that when given along with chemotherapy, CBD may make chemotherapy more effective and increase cancer cell death without harming normal cells. Studies in mouse models of cancer showed that CBD together with delta-9-THC may make chemotherapy such as temozolomide more effective.

On 16 July 2015, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) updated the FAQ on their web site, Cancer.gov, to include a statement about cannabis and its effect upon cancer cells: “Cannabis has been shown to kill cancer cells in the laboratory.”
