politics and politicians Title: This U.S. Government Is The Most Corrupt In History Government corruption has become rampant: The biggest companies own the D.C. politicians. Indeed, the head of the economics department at George Mason University has pointed out that it is unfair to call politicians prostitutes. He says they are in fact pimps
selling out the American people for a price. A former U.S. Senator writes: Measured against the standards established for republics from ancient times, the American Republic is massively corrupt. *** Can anyone seriously doubt that our republic, our government, is corrupt? There have been Teapot Domes and financial scandals of one kind or another throughout our nations history. There has never been a time, however, when the government of the United States was so perversely and systematically dedicated to special interests, earmarks, side deals, log-rolling, vote-trading, and sweetheart deals of one kind or another. *** How can public service be promoted as an ideal to young people when this sewer corrupts our Republic? At this point in early twenty-first-century America, the greatest service our nations young people could provide is to lead an army of outraged young Americans armed with brooms on a crusade to sweep out the rascals and rid our capital of the money changers, rent seekers, revolving door dancers, and special interest deal makers and power brokers and send them back home to make an honest living, that is, if they still remember how to do so. A U.S. Congressman says: He also says: Government regulators have become so corrupted and captured by those they regulate that Americans know that the cop is on the take. Institutional corruption is killing peoples trust in our government and our institutions. Neither the Democratic or Republican parties represent the interests of the American people. Elections have become nothing but scripted beauty contests, with both parties ignoring the desires of their own bases. Indeed, America is no longer a democracy or republic
its officially an oligarchy. And the allowance of unlimited campaign spending allows the oligarchs to purchase politicians more directly than ever. No wonder polls show that the American people say that the system is so thoroughly corrupt that government corruption is now Americans number one fear. And see this. And politicians from both sides of the aisle say that corruption has destroyed America. Moreover, there are two systems of justice in America
one for the big banks and other fatcats
and one for everyone else. Indeed, Americans have less access to justice than Botswanans
and are more abused by police than Kazakhstanis. But the private sector is no better
for example, the big banks have literally turned into criminal syndicates engaged in systemic fraud. Wall Street and giant corporations are literally manipulating every single market. And the big corporations are cutting corners to make an extra penny
wreaking havoc with their carelessness. For example: (Further examples here, here, here, here and here.) The real problem is that we need to learn a little history: Liberals and conservatives tend to blame our countrys problems on different factors
but they are all connected. The real problem is the malignant, symbiotic relationship between big corporations and big government. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top Page Up Full Thread Page Down Bottom/Latest

We need a set of gallows, like in the movie Hang Em High, on a much larger scale. And the will to use it.
Si vis pacem, para bellum Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God. There are no Carthaginian terrorists. President Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people. --Clint Eastwood "I am concerned for the security of our great nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within." -- General Douglas MacArthur
The reason and blame for this can be laid squarely before your feet. Before your feet, along with all the other Republicans/Conservatives who cast a protest write-in vote or stayed home and let Obama glide safely to retaining power. You need to hang you head in shame. I was no Romney supporter, but I did believe that a bad Romney administration would be much better than a continued terrible Obama administration. Now you have stated that you will do the same thing again. The magnitude of your stupidity grows stronger each day. But that comes as no surprise, judging from your past inept actions. You need to get your damned act together to support and vote for Trump. Then you can proudly be a part of the "Make American Great Again" team. Now, stand up, and start loudly singing "God Bless America." Then go out and buy yourself one of those friggin' "Red Caps" ...
Oh - you are still under the delusion that all of this massive government corruption would have just magically disappeared if only we had elected Mitt? Seriously? And you believe that St. Donald will be the second Coming of Christ and corruption will be a thing of the past once he "takes charge"? Good grief, you are a loon! You need to fuck off and stop telling other people what to do, you arrogant asshole. As I have stated numerous times - national elections are a scam. You really think your vote "matters". You really think the new "boss" will be not the same as the old "boss"? Elections are a scam whose function is to create the illusion that the people control the government, not the elite, and to neutralize resistance movements. All voting does is strengthen the state & ruling class, it is not an effective means to change government policy. It does not matter who is elected because the way the system is set up all elected representatives must do what big business and the state bureaucracy want, not what the people want. Elected representatives are figureheads. Politicians rhetoric may change depending on who is elected, but they all have to implement the same policies given the same situation. |
