Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that you can’t live on the current federal minimum wage of $7.25-an-hour and that he was “looking at that, because I’m very different from most Republicans. I mean, you have to have something that you can live on” during an interview broadcast on Wednesday’s “Situation Room” on CNN. Trump was asked, “Bernie Sanders says he wants $15-an-hour minimum wage, and he has really gone after you lately for saying you’re happy with $7.25, the current federal minimum wage. You can’t live on $7.25-an-hour.” He responded, “No, and I’m actually looking at that, because I’m very different from most Republicans. I mean, you have to have something that you can live on, but what I’m really looking to do, is get people great jobs so they make much more money than that, so they make much money — more money than the $15. Now, if you start playing around too much with the lower level, the lower level number, you’re not going to be competitive.” When asked what he would recommend as a federal minimum wage, Trump stated, “I’m looking at it.” He was then asked if he was open to raising the wage, he said, “I’m open to doing something with it, because I don’t like that. But what I really do like bringing our jobs back, so they’re making much more than the $15.”

So if he understands that the answer is to "get people great jobs so they make much more money than that" and that a more than token raise in the minimum wage means "you’re not going to be competitive" ... then what the Hell is he "looking at"? Is the inability to put 2 and 2 together how he's "very different from most Republicans"?
I don't care if they raise the minimum wage. It is not right to offer slave like wages. You obviously have globalist and conservative confused. You're not conservative you're a liberal like Bill piece of shit Kristol.
Raising the minimum wage is a liberal unionist position ;not a conservative one . The only reason liberals and unions support it is because the new minimum wage becomes the base line for new negotiations. They don't care about the poor and how that impacts their job prospects. They offer the poor government handouts as an alternative ,creating a permanent class dependent on the government . There is where you find slavery ,not in people getting less money for starter jobs that are not intended to be permanent careers .
And most Union employees haven't gotten a raise since Obozo took office, but then again that was to be expected.
Now that the "presumptive nominee" has been determined the slide to the left accelerates. Will Trump end up to left of Bernie? He's Mitt, without the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
How many flips will Trump have to flop before his supporters admit to themselves that they were duped?

"True believers" are as delusional as Trump. There are still people claiming Boy Jorge was a conservative. IMO,anyone that delusional shouldn't be allowed to vote or run for office.
