Video and Audio Title: Presumptive nominee Trump pivots to November after forcing Cruz out of the race: The Donald calls Hillary 'horrible' as he reveals he is shortlisting 'political' contenders to be his VP Donald Trump began his first day as the all-but-rubber-stamped Republican presidential nominee by declaring that his likely opponent Hillary Clinton 'should suffer' for putting classified documents on a private email server as secretary of state. 'She should not be allowed to run in the election,' Trump said in a phone-in interview on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' program the morning after his chief rival Sen. Ted Cruz dropped out of the race. 'She should suffer like other people have suffered who have done far less than she has,' Trump declared. 'Bernie Sanders said she's got poor judgment. And she does. You look at the email scandal. She shouldn't even be allowed to run.' GO TIME: Donald Trump came out of the gate with fists swinging Wednesday, saying Hillary Clinton shouldn't be allowed to run for president with an FBI investigation into her classified emails hanging over her head TOO FAR PART FOR HANDCUFFS: Trump suggested that Hillary may have legal problems that would preclude her from running for the White House Trump reflected on Cruz's stunning reversal on Tuesday night, pulling out of the White House contest after a 53-37 drubbing in the Indiana primary. 'I'm happy about the way it played out,' he said. Trump said he may soon abandon his ironclad policy of not raising money for the presidential contest, but insisted that he would only be asking big-ticket donors to contribute to the Republican National Committee not to his campaign. 'Im going to be making a decision over the next week,' he said, opening the door even to the possibility that he might embrace the assistance of outside super PACs. 'The question is I do love self-funding. I dont want anything for myself, but we do need money for the party.' 'Do I want to sell a couple of buildings and self-fund? I don't know that I want to do that necessarily, but I really won't be asking for money for myself,' he said. Trump said he's mulling the question of who his vice presidential running-mate will be, saying that while 'it's too soon' to talk about specific names, he was leaning toward choosing a traditional politician who can help him interface with Congress. 'I have the business lets call them talents, and I think I'll probably go the political route,' he said. 'Somebody that can help me with legislation and somebody that can help me get things passed and somebody that's been friends with the senators and congressmen and all so we dont have to go the executive order route as much as Obama did, you know, where he cant get anything approved so he just keeps signing executive orders.' Trump confirmed later on ABC's 'Good Morning America' that he would limit himself to picking a Republican. Reflecting on the need for party unity, he said on 'Morning Joe' that 'I don't think its imperative that the entire party come together. I don't want everybody. I don't even want certain people that were extraordinarily nasty. Let them go their own way.' 'I've been saying for a long time that there are some people that I almost dont want their endorsement, Republicans I really don't, he said. 'Because it was too rough, and they were too nasty, and I don't think its going to matter, frankly.' Asked if he wanted Cruz's endorsement, Trump paused. 'Well, I think it would be nice,' he said. Hellary has a lot more serious issues to face than emails. Bringing the Email issue up lets her off the hook entirely too easily. She has been a leftist counterculturalist for many years. Obama knew of her angry mission in life. That's why he appointed her as Secretary of State. He needed someone he could count on to be as destructively subversive as he is and carry it out with humorous defiance and feminine showmanship. Obama and Hellery are one and the same. She is the most dangerous symbol of feminine deterioration in the nation's history.
