He has said for the past several years, as long as I have been paying attention to him as a politician, that he is pro-life, but he believes that there must be exceptions for the life of the mother, and for rape and incest. That has been Trump's consistent position all along. It is not the Republican Party's position. This week, with Trump's win in New York, he made it clear that HIS position will be what it has been: pro- life with life, rape and incest exceptions. He made it clear that that is what he is going to be advocating, and he said that the Republican platform will need to be adjusted to fit that.
