Only 22 People Show Up For Senator Cruz Philadelphia Rally – Unstable Ted Starts Screaming on Radio Show (audio)…

Posted on April 19, 2016

Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz had a full apoplectic meltdown today. During a radio appearance an unhinged Senator Cruz began lashing out and screaming at Sean Hannity. (full audio below) The internet lit up as people discussed the on-air meltdown wondering what could have possibly triggered such grossly unstable behavior.

Apparently the answer is found in this picture from Senator Cruz’s rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Only a few dozen people showed up to hear candidate Cruz – in a city home to over 1.6 million people.

UPDATE: It appears the Cruz campaign is trying to hide from such a horrible optic.

This is a transparent attempt to avoid an embarrassing failed event. Apparently not much support for Lyin’ Ted Cruz in the city of brotherly love.

Here’s the audio of unstable Cruz and his breathless meltdown:

With 50% of the vote in for New York, the count shows:

61.4% TRUMP
24.1% KASICH
14.4% CRUZ

Cruz has surged to 14%, trailing Kasich by 10 points. And it looks like Cruz has encountered Philadelphia values. Eagles fans booed and threw snowballs at Santa Claus. Ted's gonna love that crowd.

Good advice.

Now deal with the reality that Trump has killed any chance of a REP defeating Hillary. He has killed the REP party and likely handed Senate control back to the DRats. The DRats will control all three branches of government. But perhaps you don't care about that either.

With 86% reporting, AP projected Trump 86 delegates, Kasich 2, Cruz 0.

Politico projects the same with 88% reporting.

Trump has brought MILLIONS of new voters to the GOP primaries to vote for him.

The assumption that Trump can't beat Hillary is as valid as the assumption that Cruz could.

Trump has brought MILLIONS of new voters to the GOP primaries to vote for him.

For all your BS to date Clinton has received 10,386,768 votes and Sanders 7,699,115 compared to 8,715,916 for Trump and 6,387,283 for Cruz.

Also every poll in the RCP average has Hillary beating the crap out of Trump by an average of 9.3 %. She also beats Cruz but the average of 2.3% is within the margin of error. Sanders does better than Hillary against Trump and Cruz.

OTOH Kasich bets Hillary in each of the RCP polls with an average of 7.8%, and only one at 4% is within the margin of error. But Sanders beats Kasich in all but one of the RCP.

We are still early in the game and the polls will change. But do not think that Trump will draw more people into the general election that will vote for him. There are so just so many poorly educated white men in the country, certainly nowhere near the amount of women that will vote for Hillary over Trump. And Trump is losing to Hillary with every minority group. So exactly who is going to put Trump over the top in the general election? There are so just so many poorly educated white men in the country.

Ted Cruz mathematically eliminated

from any chance to secure 1,237 bound delegates before the convention.

In New York, the presumptive candidate Donald Trump opened such a can of whupass, the now mathematically eliminated Ted Cruz was ignominiously relegated to third place, 45 points behind Trump and ten points behind John Kasich.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Especially if you like a lying, sleazy, never answer the question, politician, slip & fall lawyer. Sure Fred, sure.

Fred, I'm afraid you put your objectiveness back in the drawer on this one.

I am not a fan of Hannity / Vannity. But, fact is, he has bent over backwards to soft peddle with Cruz, and Cruz obviously got pissed at, and was rude to Hannity, would not answer Hannity's honest question about him getting delegates in Colorado when there were no votes. Kinda hard to claim you are an outsider, an that the establishment hates you, when you are the one that gained delegates without voters, which was engineered by the "establishment". And like a lying politician, gave an answer that was simply a campaign line attack on Trump, sticking to his political talking points, yet not answering the question. He did not want to answer the question because that whole matter makes him look bad. Colorado has been a PR disaster for Cruz & his toadys

Cruz claims he is concerned with bringing good paying jobs back to the US. Really ? Then why did he support TPP, which it has been widely claimed would cause more exodus of jobs from US to foreign nations? Could it be his wife's connections to Goldman Sachs & CFR? Surely not. And Cruz claims to be an outsider? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Cruz never even mentioned wanting to bring jobs back to the US until polls showed that was a big issue with US citizens / voters, and that Trump was gaining support on the issue. Then and only then did he talk about it, trying to look like it was all his idea.

To me, and I believe a lot of others, "Rat Face" came off as very untrustworthy. More like a politician/used car salesman.

Cruz was not very Christian like, for a guy that claims to be this big Christian.

You might buy Rat Face's bullshit, but I don't.

Donald Trump just made it impossible for Ted Cruz to clinch the GOP nomination

Philip Bump
Washington Post
April 19, 2016

[excerpt]

How bad was Cruz’s night? He’s losing to Ben Carson in some places — a guy who hasn’t been in the race in weeks.

Cruz can still win the nomination on the first convention ballot, mind you, but he needs to win about 88.5 percent of the outstanding delegates, bound or unbound, per Daniel Nichanian’s excellent calculations. That's not likely to happen either.

Trump isn’t the only big winner tonight! Congratulations to John Kasich, who will almost certainly end up with his first delegate in more than a month. Can Kasich pull off a come-from-behind victory? No. The end.

but it looks like there are only about 30 seats available.

The event started almost an hour later than it was supposed to. I'd guess the reason for that was, so that they could remove the extra chairs so there wouldn't be a lots of empty seats showing.

Looks like they squeezed the 22 spectators into a corner.

As far as people being confused by the process ,Cruz should just say ;'An enlightened citizenry is indispensable for the proper functioning of a republic'.(Jefferson).In other words ;it is up to the electorate to educate themselves about the process.

Quite bad. I agree that Cruz is toast. As I stated a while ago IMO Trump will get the nomination on the first ballot even if he doesn't have 1237 going in. But that doesn't change anything about Dollar Donald being in the race to assure Hillary the WH and destroy the REP Party. He successfully completed the latter mission and is well on the way of completing the former.

I hope that you enjoy eight years (probably much longer) of absolute DRat control of all three branches of government.

You support a corrupt system of undemocratic rules that disenfranchise millions of voters.

2004 Gore won the national popular vote and Bush won the election because of the results of the electoral college .That was the rules . If the Republican candidate wins the Presidency this year it will likely be similar to the 2004 election .

Is it 'unfair ' ? Maybe ;but the founders put the electoral college rule in there for a very good reason. They wanted a Federal Republic ,not a democracy .Do you think the system they set up is like North Korea ,Nazi Germany and Cuba ?

The electoral college is fair. If you had the popular vote. States like California would cheat and make up pretend votes.

Cruz is a puppet and will do as told.

he voted against America and in favor of China manipulating their currency.

He isn't even a natural born citizen.

Yes, the GOP is a political club;

And if the screw the people. I will never vote for any of them again. Ever. I'm already voting for one democrat against the Republican establishment asshole who taught his son to suck dick. Flush Portman down the toilet.

They are rigging the system. Screw them. Take your corrupt rules and shove them up Ted Cruz's ass.

As I stated a while ago IMO Trump will get the nomination on the first ballot even if he doesn't have 1237 going in. But that doesn't change anything about Dollar Donald being in the race to assure Hillary the WH and destroy the REP Party.

That shit does not pass the giggle test.

I asked you once and you ducked. I'll ask again. Hillary will kill Trump with the women vote. She will destroy him with the minority vote. So exactly who will put Trump in the WH? There are only so many poorly educated white men.

Hillary has all she can do to beat a 74-year old relatively unknown socialist who does not fight like Trump. Hillary is a piss poor candidate who will be no match for Trump. Don't mistake Hillary for Bill.

So exactly who will put Trump in the WH?

People with brains, Clinton fatigue, people who have a minimal regard for national security, people who are tired of Clinton's lies and in-your-face corruption, and people who care about who will answer the 3 a.m. phone call saying Benghazi is under attack.

The electoral college is fair.

The Constitution created a union of States (Art. 7), not a union of individuals.

The electoral college represents the States who are the members of the Union.

America doesn't care about your "whitewash" concerning Hillary Clinton. They see a smart, experienced executive with apparent domwestic and international prowess based on existing social standards for inter-communication methods. These do-nothings that vote don't care about your opinion.

Very clever and a genuine statement to whitewash. Have you ever thought of becoming Trump's coiffure specialist?

LMAO. The same 74-year old relatively unknown socialist beats the sh*t out of Trump in the RCP polls more than Hillary does.

That's like Kasich beats Hillary handily. Bernie is not running against Trump. Kasich is not running against Hillary.

So called conventional wisdom had Hillary a shoo-in awaiting coronation. It did not work out that way. She is badly damaged for the general election.

So called conventional wisdom assessed Trump as a joke who would not win a single primary. Scott Walker, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio et al are not laughing. Everyone but Trump has been eliminated from a first ballot win, effective April 9, 2016.

I would say they, and I, do not care about your opinion, but you steadfastly refrain from expressing anything as your opinion, assuming you even have an opinion.

of course it is fair . But I hear whiners complaining about it all the time . They use the same argument that Trump supporters use. 'The "people" are being disenfranchised by arcane rules '. It is nonsense of course ;just like Trump's whining about the rules of the delegate selection process is nonsense '.

The electoral college is reflective of the fact that the USA is a union of states, and the people only exercise their sovereign power while acting as a political community, a state. The individual has no constitutional right to cast a popular vote for President, and none were cast in the early elections.

However, if a state choose to hold a popular vote, the process must be fair.

The GOP delegate selection process is governed by the GOP. It is not a public affair, it is a private affair. The GOP may make rules which are unfair. If they make rules that are unfair, they may be properly criticized for their unfair rules, and the people may vote with their feet. Donald Trump has observed unfair rules that disenfranchise voters to the benefit of the party elite, and has lit a blowtorch under the ass of Reince Priebus and the RNC.

Reince Priebus, the RNC, and anyone who defends the unfair rules will lose the public relations battle. Donald Trump has used this to bury Ted Cruz.

No doubt. But not as damaged as Trump. This year more than any other in my recollection going back to Ike the choice is between a mega-douche or a mega- turd sandwich. It is certainly too late for Hillary to change her image and probably so for Trump as well. There is plenty of ammunition on both sides to really get into a sh*t throwing pissing contest as we all know will happen starting sometime in May-June. In the end DRats have less moral and intellectual integrity than REPs and they will turn out in droves to vote for the first women POTUS. Not even an indictment (which will never happen) will dissuade Hillary/DRat supporters.

Hmmmm..............corrupt rules? Designed to stop Trump? Gee, I guess that is why Trump has a much higher percentage of delegates than he has of the votes. He isn't complaining about that corruption, is he now?

Trump should stop his belly-aching .He has benefitted from the rules he complains about . Before NY ,he won 37% of the votes cast in Republican primaries and caucuses, and got 46 %of the delegates. In NY he got 67 % of the vote and came away with almost 100% of the delegates . He got all the Florida and Arizona delegates even though he got a far less than half the vote in the primary .

So when he wipes the tears away he can reflect on how the rules have helped him in the contest and he should remember that winners don't whine.
