Paul Manafort, Donald Trump Convention Manager, joined Sean Hannity tonight to discuss the current state of the Republican race.
Manafort says April will be a very bad month for Ted Cruz.
Paul Manafort: The whole premise of the Cruz campaign, the second ballot. Theres not going to be a second ballot Were out of Cruz land. Cruz is not even going to be finishing second for the next couple of weeks. Hes going to be a distant third in a lot of places.
Sean Hannity: So, in other words, you think Trump wins New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland?
Manafort: I think were doing very well in all those places. All the polls show us leading and were just starting to put our campaigns together there June 7th is going to put us over but were not going to have to win overwhelmingly on June 7th April is going to be a very bad month for Ted Cruz. Hell probably finish third in delegates in April.
Cruz is embarrassingly non-competitive in the northeast, which is why he is hiding by the Pacific, there trying to organize a last hurrah, but still trailing even there.
(CNN)South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham thinks his party has gone "bats---" crazy, and joked Thursday that it's possible to get away with murdering Ted Cruz if it happened in the Senate.
"If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you," the former presidential candidate said at the Washington Press Club Foundation's 72nd Congressional Dinner, referencing the Texas senator's unpopular reputation on Capitol Hill.
Or, as Craig Mazin, former roomate of Ted Cruz at Princeton, observed,
Why do people develop an instant dislike for Ted Cruz?
Manafort seems not so bright. He seems to have problems completing sentences.
Vannity never even bothered to ask him why he botched Colorado so badly and his "staff" there was so incompetent that it couldn't assemble a list of delegate numbers accurately despite being given extra time to fix their slate list.
Why do people develop an instant dislike for Ted Cruz?
Why do people dislike politicians? It is because they know they are going to get screwed. People dislike Cruz because he is not with them, he is with the establishment that has been screwing them. People dislike Dump because he is a bully, making noises people want to hear, but it doesn't ring sincere and let's face it there is something to dislike in all the candidates but what are you going to do, this is the bag you have?
