Trump and the Trumpsters really aren't doing themselves any favors by their constant whining about this. I guess those who think Cruz cheated also think that stealing bases in baseball is cheating. Parties set their own rules for appointing delegates in each State. It has always been that way. It just hasn't been apparent for a while because the elections have been coinciding with the Party expectations. Cruz simply played by the rules as they existed. If Trump is so adept at the "art of the deal," he should have had his ass in there convincing those delegates to side with him instead of crying about it now.
You act like because polling booths are set up and people wait in lines that these primary elections are governed by election laws and their results matter. They aren't and they don't. The party is free to do what it wants. They can let the election decide delegates or not.
Now, in the end, the people do get what they want. So if there is sufficient outrage in CO over this among Republicans, they force massive changes.
