President Barack Obama told FOX News what he thought was the worst mistake of his presidency on Sunday, saying his failure to adequately plan for the aftermath of the U.S.-supported overthrow of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 was "probably" his biggest error. "Probably failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya," the president told Fox's Chris Wallace in response to the inquiry. According to the president, he still believes the U.S. was right to intervene in the conflict. U.S. air strikes, intelligence personnel and logistical support proved crucial to bringing the rebellion against Qaddafi to a close, though the country has remained chaotic since. After the coalition against Qaddafi failed to implement a credible successor to his rule, much of the country has been taken over by various militias and warlords. Poster's note: There was never any mistake. The intent from square one was to overthrow Khadaffi and substitute an outside influx of orthodox islamic jihadists who would then have a secure base from which to conduct further conquest of the region. Hillary was sympathetic with it. That's why she was chosen as Secretary of state. The strategy for achieving domestic subversion and defeat is to claim mistakes were made. There never were any mistakes. There was just subversive and destructive intent. It may seem paradoxical that left wing politicians have answers for eveything and claim to know everything when running for office, but suddenly claim to know nothing after being voted into office.

Hillary's supossed misuse of computer messaging was of little relevance to her position of secretary of state. What is of far greater concern is the reason why she was chosen as Secretary of state. Over a long period she has been able to be counted on to support subversive positions, or positions contrary to the best interests of this nation. She's been a hard, and antagonistic, dog to keep on the porch and people support her for that destructive reason. This business about computer misuse is not as important, or a substite, for a far more serious long term problem which should disqualify her as a presidential candidate.
yes but his biggest mistake was being elected in the first place, knocking off gaddaffi was his second largest mistake and his third is not intervening to dispatch Daesh quickly. The point is you are either in or out, half measures don't get you the result you want. We could be excused for thinking Obama wanted daesh to succeed in Syria because they were opposed to Iran in the person of shiia backed forces.
I'm surprised he's taking the blame. Libya was much more a Hitlery operation. Recall her "We came, we saw, he died" remark? That was supposed to be her victorious campaign slogan. Instead, she got our ambassador and 3 others killed and Libya is a disaster for its own people who were much better off before. It's a haven for terrorists and half of north Africa is streaming through it, trying to make it to Europe to sign up for EUro-welfare. Which is destabilizing the EU. But everything at the time indicated that it was Hitlery who spearheaded this foolish Arab Spring policy. Not 0bama. He must really want her to succeed him to come on FNC and fall on that grenade for her.
