Islam is a big ugly problem facing the world. There’s 1.6 billion of them, so the murderous headchopping polygamous misogynous supremacist “religion of peace” cannot be easily ignored, particularly when they have brought their barbaric culture with them to Europe and America. But teaching them about democracy in various nation-building programs, such as in Iraq, have failed miserably. The citizens have apparently noticed Muslims’ lack of aptitude for democratic self-rule, as reflected in a recent Rasmussen poll where a strong 58 percent of likely voters said we should chill on foreign democracy projects. Hopefully a future poll will ask about the wisdom of Quarantining Islam within its copious territory. Most Don’t Want U.S. Promoting Democracy In Islamic World, Rasmussen Reports, March 28, 2016 Donald Trump has run afoul of the Republican establishment with his opposition to so-called “nation-building,” but most voters think Trump’s on the right track. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 28% of Likely U.S. Voters think the United States should do more to encourage the growth of democracy in the Islamic world. Fifty-eight percent (58%) say the United States should leave things alone. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) . . . The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on March 22-23, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports.

With the GOP's strenuous efforts to disregard the primary vote, maybe we need a little more growing of democracy here in the USA.
Only 58% well noone is perfect but that 58% are right, interferring in the politics of other nations doesn't get you very far. How do you define democracy anyway, the elect everything in sight democracy of the US, or the other models which are also equally successful, down to the elect a president and let him appoint his cronies to the important positions. True democracy of letting each citizen speak his piece is a slow and ponderous method of government but may yield better results

That is right, there is only one cure, the same cure for any virus,
only 28% of Likely U.S. Voters think the United States should do more to encourage the growth of democracy in the Islamic world.
