Yesterday was not a good day for Donald Trump. He found himself still mired in the mess he has created by attacking Heidi Trump, an act so egregious that Ann Coulter has called him mental. Worse still, his moronic communications director put him on the air with three conservative Wisconsin talk radio hosts, one of whom is in the #NeverTrump movement, who made it clear what kind of a buffoon he really is.
TRUMP: All I did was quote numbers from a story that I had confirmed. But you had a $2.2 billion budget deficit and the schools were going begging and everything and everything was going begging because he didnt want to raise taxes because he was going to run for president. So instead of raising taxes he cut back on schools, he cut back on highways, cut back on a lot of things. And thats why. Wisconsin has a problem and youre losing jobs all over the place.
The fact is that Wisconsin did not have a $2.2 billion budget deficit. Trump made that number up out of thin air. As BuzzFeed, thats right BuzzFeed is defending Scott Walker, says:
Trump later in the interview attacked Walker over what he called Wisconsins real budget deficit. His claim, that Walker oversaw a $2.2 billion deficit, is not true, and has been labeled as such by fact checkers severaltimes when Trump has made it in the past. Wisconsin by law is required to have a balanced budget. While there was at one time, according to some groups, a projected $2.2 billion budget shortfall in Wisconsin, Walker signed into law last summer a balanced budget for the next two years.
Wisconsin is not losing jobs. It has gained jobs under Scott Walker and the unemployment rate in Wisconsin is nearly a point below the national average.
What is funnier is that Trump is obviously afraid to go on with any talk radio host in Wisconsin because he knows, now, that his bull**** statistics and made up facts will be tied to his neck, metaphorically, set afire, figuratively.
It's "balanced" because "projected revenues" are going to be higher.
I'd point out that it is balanced because their constitution requires it to be.
At any rate, Trump is reciting Lefty attacks against Scott Walker. And even reliable Walker-hating Lefty outlets and WaPo are calling Trump an ignorant liar.
Not that that will even register with a Trumpkin dupe like you.
"I'd point out that it is balanced because their constitution requires it to be."
True. Too bad the Wisconsin State Constitution doesn't require an honest assessment of projected revenue.
"At any rate, Trump is reciting Lefty attacks against Scott Walker."
Oh, man. You should have heard Mark Belling at WISN-Milwaukee yesterday afternoon. He was apoplectic. I thought he was going to have a stroke.
Whining like a little baby. Trump lied! Not true! Wisconsin is a wonderful state! We beat the unions! Scott Walker is God!
This from a guy who has been repeating the MSM lies against Trump for the last 6 months. Now his governor is being attacked and he is going absolutely apeshit. What fun!
I'm sure he'll be doing the same today. www.belling.com starting at 3:00 C Central time.
True. Too bad the Wisconsin State Constitution doesn't require an honest assessment of projected revenue.
There is a limit to just how much you can tie their hands. The real world is too uncertain. If only the feds were similarly constrained in their own budget and in imposing mandates on the states.

Given the hard-fought battles of the WI GOP, exactly what would you expect.
Trump has trashed Walker repeatedly and even went to Janesville to trash Paul Ryan in his hometown.
It ain't gonna work.
I'm thinking Trump will lose all 42 delegates to Cruz. Trump is likely to finish behind Kasich doing this.
A guy like Trump is not going to be nice to someone who backed his opponent. You think he should? Maybe Trump should also say nice things about Cruz, too. Maybe Trump should also lose.
"... and even went to Janesville to trash Paul Ryan in his hometown."
Stop making shit up. Trump went to Janesville for a townhall, not to trash Paul Ryan. While there, he brought up Paul Ryan's name and the crowd booed.
