No where is it called Har anything. It's Ar which means city. Geddo/Mageddo/Mageddon is found about 20 tomes in the Old Testament and it always means sanctuary, except one place where it refers to a pagan town called Mageddo and that is because there was a pagan sanctuary there. The word is still in use today. Ghetto is a variant spelling of Geddo which originally meant a sanctuary for Jews. The University of Texas made a map of Iraq in 1994 (based on aerial photos) that showed the lower 50 miles of the Euphrates as being completely dry.
