Title: Ted Cruz to Donald Trump: ‘Donald You’re a Sniveling Coward and Leave Heidi the Hell Alone’

In the continuing wife battle between top two 2016 Republican presidential contenders Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Donald Trump, Cruz is slamming Trump for a late night Tweet aimed at Heidi Cruz.

Wednesday night Trump Tweeted:

Cruz quickly responded with a Tweet of his own:

Cruz also responded Thursday, as shown on CNN:

Cruz told reporters, “It’s not easy to tick me off. I don’t get angry often, but you mess with my wife, you mess with my kids, that’ll do it every time. Donald you’re a sniveling coward and leave Heidi the hell alone.”

The senator from Texas went on to say that he will beat Trump for the Republican presidential nomination. He accused Trump of being scared of strong women, scared to debate, scared of Megyn Kelly, and scared to defend his policies.

Cruz accused Trump of lashing out against his wife because of Cruz’s strong win in Utah last Tuesday. “Let me be absolutely clear, our spouses and our children are off bounds. It is not acceptable for a big, loud New York bully to attack my wife.”

He went on to laud Heidi as the daughter of Christian missionaries and an “unbelievable mom,” his best friend, and the love of his life. Cruz called on Trump to stick to attacking him and not wife Heidi.

The Trump camp quickly responded, according to CNBC: “Ted Cruz is desperate right now to stay relevant in this campaign cycle… (Trump) has a long history of working very closely with women and has a great relationship with them.”

Leading up to the Utah Republican presidential caucus, the anti-Trump Super PAC Make America Awesome founded by Liz Mair ran Facebook ads with a partially nude modeling photo of Trump’s wife Melania with the words, “Meet Melania Trump, your next First Lady. Or you could vote for Ted Cruz on Tuesday.” Mair said the group was targeting conservative Mormon women.

The ad became national news when Trump Tweeted on Tuesday, the day of the Utah and Arizona presidential primary contests, accusing Cruz of sponsoring the ad and threatening to “spill the beans” on Cruz’s wife Heidi:

Cruz responded:

Mair chimed in on Tuesday, confirming the ad was not from Cruz:

She went on to warn Trump supporters to stop coming after her and her family with a series of Tweets.

Trump doubled down on the accusation against Cruz, Tweeting on Wednesday:

Heidi Cruz offered her own response on Wednesday to Trump’s “spill the beans” comment saying, “Well, as you probably know by now, most of the things that Donald Trump says have no basis in reality.” She continued, “So we are not worried in the least and [we are] focusing on our campaign, and we are going to continue to do that.”

Cruz Communications Director Alice Stewart clarified to CNN that the Make America Awesome PAC is anti-Trump and not pro-Cruz. She further stated that Cruz has denounced the ad with his comments that “spouses are completely off limits and family members are completely off limits when it comes to the presidential race and the discourse and he has made that quite clear.” (1 image)

" You would think these klowns would rationally discuss how they will bring down the federal debt or sumthing. "

Yeah, it is time to drop the childish crap, and talk about some serious topics.

It is noteworthy it was Cruz ( or his supporters ) that turned down this road to begin with. They started it. Don't tell me Cruz did not know about it. And Mr Trump, you knew your wife had these pictures floating around out there. You should have been prepared for a more adult response. Both should grow up.

Well here we are in March and it's looking more and more like the Ruling Party will get its way after all.

1. Trump is self destructing (the fact that he's doing this was predicted - just not the specific way he would do it)
2. Cruz (if he's the nominee) is not electable in the general election. He's just not - sorry. He will not win any states north of the Mason Dixon line.
3. Xlinton may be wearing an orange jumpsuit in November. If so, there's Joe Biden. Or Algore.

And the Romneys, McClowns, Bushes, Roves, Ryans and McConnells will be perfectly happy with that.

"Coward" Trump? A coward? Not hardly.

And you discerned that based on what? His service record?

In my neck of the woods, a big mouth, backed up by lawyers, is not mistaken for courage. In fact, it is conclusive evidence of the opposite.

I suspect Trump has never punched or been punched, let alone been in a fistfight, in his entire spoiled, privileged life.

I still say, if Cruz gets the nomination the MSM, academia, Democrats and talking heads will question his natural born citizenship. I'm sure they'll find some judge somewhere to back them up with a ruling. (And Trump will say I told you so.)

At that point, it doesn't make a difference whether he is or isn't. If enough voters have doubts, Hillary is a shoe-in.

In my neck of the woods, a big mouth, backed up by lawyers, is not mistaken for courage.

Perhaps not, but that is the sort of power that matters in the big, wide, real world. Trump does that better than anybody.

Look at Cruz and the cranky GOP Establishment. They run pictures of Trump's wife. He's every bit as pissed off as Cruz now is.

Those Super-+PACS are favoring Cruz now - #NeverTrump - and Cruz knows that. Did Cruz denounce them? Of course not! He hoped to benefit from it. Trump hit back, harder, and Cruz melted and mewled.

Jeb came after Trump with words - Trump melted him. Rubio came after Trump. Bye bye Rubio. Paul came after Trump. Trump's ridicule ended the debate.

Trump is a bully. The only person I've seen TRUMP go out and attack, though, is Obama. In each of these other cases, some little petty asshole popped off at Trump, and Trump's reply ended the man's political career.

Trump is a bully with power. And because I despise the men he is bullying, and despise their party, I love it. I said all along that one of the key reasons I supported Trump from the beginning is that he fights. He takes absolutely no shit from anyone, and once somebody starts a fight, there is no limit below which Trump will not go to crush it. Trump fights to win every fight, and he makes every fight a war to the death.

Good. Republicans are effeminate weenies. That's why they melt under Trump's onslaught. They expect he will keep the rules of decorum where they can play their arch parlor games. Trump throws over the tea table and hits them in the face - with lawyers and words. And he wins.

I am tired of losing. I want to win. Trump has won every fight so far, and advanced.

So, in your part, fistfights are the key? Hey, that's great, if you're a working class stiff who can only fight with fists. Trump is a billionaire who fights with law and media and money power. And that is how national leaders fight. We're not voting for the tough guy on th block. We're voting for the Caesar of the World Empire. For Caesar to actually get into the arena would be stupid. You send gladiators in to do the fighting for you.

George Patton was not wielding a bayonet in the trenches of Italy. He exposed himself to danger, but he did go fight hand-to-hand. Neither did George Washington.

You don[t like Trump. Well, I thought the Bushes, all of them, were pukes and hated them. They were the leaders nevertheless. We rarely get what we want in politics. I'm sorry you're so down on Trump, because I know the misery you're going to feel for the next 8 years, when a guy who, to you, is obviously a jerk is running the show.

But he's going to be running the show, because he's smarter, better, stronger than all of the other contestants.

And I happen to agree with him on all of his major policies, so I'm positively delighted to see him become President. Now the only question is "Who will be Veep?" I hope he picks somebody who can succeed him.

If Cruz is the nominee, it will have happened due to convention tricks. There is no path to the nomination for him anymore that doesn't involve a brokered convention. A brokered convention will have to rob Trump of the nomination, and that will mean that a huge portion that turned out for Trump will either stay home or vote for the Democrats to bounce the rubble.

You can have President Trump, or you can have President Hillary, along with a Democrat Congress and, soon after, a Democrat Supreme Court.

This time the game is for all the marbles, and the winner will be either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, nobody else.

Their respective parties will benefit by the win.

Now, the Supreme Court has been Republican since 1969, and has acted as a check on liberalism and socialism. If Hillary wins, the Supreme Court will become Democrat-controlled for the first time in almost half a century. And you will see very rapid change, like you saw under FDR when the Court shifted to enable the President rather than resist him.

With Trump, you will have a nationalist, populist conservatism. Free trade Israel-first conservatism has no candidate in this election and is gone with the wind in any case. With Hillary, you get free- trade Israel first socialism. With Trump, you get nationalist, protectionist conservatism.

That's the choice on offer. Post-Reagan Republican conservsatives would like a different choice, but there isn't one.

Many of the leaders in Congress have come out and flatly said that in order to preserve their Israel- first internationalism they'll support Hillary, even though that means more socialism and full-on social liberalism.

If that's what the conservatives want, they can get that by voting Democrat.

That should come as no surprise to anyone. Trump said from the very first day that if you come after him he will respond twice as hard. Trump brags about the primary candidates who attacked him and are now out of the race. Trump is still attacking Megyn Kelly.

I think Trump has done a good job at everything this campaign. Literally everything.

I like the trash talking and bomb-throwing, because it puts the greasy Establishment fucks off their game. They're used to be able to turn off mikes, to silence people for lack of decorum. By intentionally being crude and doubling and tripiing down on it, in response to oily Republican barbs, Trump gains the advantage. They're left sputtering like pussies, and the 47% crowd loves it and comes out to vote for Trump.

Weak sisters like Jeb! say that politics isn't professional wrestling. Sez who? Yes it is, and Trump is the big silverback gorilla ripping their smug faces off. He's unstoppable by them - they're the French army, it's 1940, and Trump is rolling in with the panzers. It's great to see.

Hillary is used to being able to hide behind being a girl, and to people never going after her incompetence directly. She's used to having her friends controlling the mikes. Not this time. Trump will attack her, and some women who were going to vote for the woman anyway, will vote for Hillary because of that. But the rest of us will cheer her on. Hillary is a screechy hag who needs to be attacked without decorum or class - take her down and take her out. Boo hoo.

Some Congressman once said "Politics ain't beanball." Yes it is.

And Trump WILL BEAT UP THE GIRL.

When it's him versus Hillary, he's going to go right after her just like any man. And the pussies will all hyperventilate about sexism. It will be full male dominance on display - and it will win him the election, because somebody will have finally dealt with that bitch the only way she could be dealt with: by hitting her in the face with words and not letting her hide behind her skirt.

The emphasized part of the quote is the money quote. It is a pre-requisite for membership in the Ruling Party - no one will be (s)elected POTUS WITHOUT pledging allegiance to wide open borders.

I've said it before - Our Rulers have decreed we have open borders; open borders we shall have.
