The 66-year-old star was not suffering from any illness, TMZ is reporting, so it appears this was sudden. A source connected to Shandling says he was healthy and speaking to people on Thursday morning. TMZ’s source says there was a 911 call from “The Larry Sanders Show” star’s home, and he was transported to the hospital. TMZ was told Shandling was alive when he arrived at the hospital. To: Stoner (#2) I'm surprised many people even remember who he was. His show was one of the most bizarre and unique shows I have ever seen before or since. Just as the theme song was about, well, the theme song, every show was about that show. It was like nothing else in the universe existed except that show that was currently going on.
