After what cruz did, I will never vote for him. Never in my 72 years do I ever remember a candidate posting a picture, in his ad, of another candidates wife. Cruz is pond scum. Compared to Cruz, Clinton is a lady. nominate whom you want, but, if it is Donald Trump I will vote Republican, if it is cruz I will blank the race. Poster Comment: As for those who say "That is a vote for Hillary" I say SO What, yes, she is a horrible liar but, Cruz is worse.

It was a super pac. Not Ted Cruz. He may or may not have known about it. It would be illegal for him to work with the group that put out the ad. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I would say he didn't. I could be wrong though.

You might want to look at the videos of one of his rallies. old, young, black, white, Veterans, cops, firemen, doctors, nurses, models, sports guys, kind of like a picture of working USA. Do you ever think? The primary results you're quoting are mostly from the REPUBLICAN zombie faithful. These are the people who nominated the last two losers, McCain and Mitt. Republicans aren't going to elect the next president. It will take independents, crossover democrats, and even people who've never voted before. Nominating someone with high disapproval numbers, means that you're voting for Hillary, just like voting for McCain and Mitt meant that you're voting for Obama. See how that works? I think they are tied. I apologize for voting for Mitt Romney. It was my belief the he would be a little better then Obama. If I could I would just run the country and we would prosper and be happy. But I would have only gotten one vote. Or maybe two.

All considered, I do hope Trump wins the presidency. That doesn't mean I like everything he stands for. He seems to have an authoritarian streak in him. He wants an even bigger military than we have now, he favors torture and it seems he's no fan of liberty. But on the positive side, he is not a standard politician, or seems not to be. He comes off instead as a real person who can think and is not afraid to change his mind if circumstances warrant it, and he would do so unapologetically, which is cool. He's also not in the pocket of any special interests. It seems likely he will declassify stuff even if it's embarrassing to the US gov just because he believes in the right of ordinary Americans to know the truth. And it seems likely that standard corrupt politics in DC will get a serious crackdown under a Trump administration. With any other of the mainstream candidates, we know nothing will change. With Trump, things might change a lot. Maybe they won't, but the best chance of really upsetting the applecart comes with Trump, not Hillary or Cruz or anyone else. So yes, I hope Trump wins. I've noticed this too. He has broad appeal with many cross sections of American life, and it seems internationally too.

Otherwise, one could conclude that Cruz came to the U.S. as a Canadian citizen, perhaps on a tourist visa or, possibly, remained in the U.S. as an illegal immigrant. Compared to what? I have only 2 candidates to choose from. Trump and Cruz. Both talk big but one has a record that is not so good. The other talks big and backs up his word with actions. I can hold my nose and vote Trump. I am willing to take a chance Trump over Clinton any day. I would rather vote for Cruz the smarter more consistent conservative slash libertarian who is a known quantity. This is what always happens in the GOP. We slaughter all the true conservative slash libertarian candidates and leave nothing but the wimpy middle of the road candidate who compromises away the conservative/libertarian beliefs for the progressive beliefs. Also who says Trump is going to do all he says when he has not done one thing to prove he can? If Cruz beats Trump in a fair fight and you do not vote for him over Clinton you are a fool!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many guys will not hold it against him that his wife who allowed herself to be photoed like that, but rather be impressed that Trump has a hot wife. On the other hand, Many guys will take offense. Some guys will pretend to take offense, but will actually be jealous or similar, secretly taking a complimentary view of Trump.
