Donald Trump is still being raked over the coals for mentioning that “rapists” were among the illegal immigrants pouring in the United States from Mexico, but new reports from the Border Patrol indicate that he wasn’t wrong. In fact, this year has seen a disturbing rise in the number of sex offenders being apprehended by officers guarding the border. Federal officials report that agents in the Tucson Sector have arrested 46 such perverts since the start of the fiscal year. They’ve locked up 10 since the beginning of March.
One of these fine, upstanding individuals was Victor Roberto Hernandez-Dolores, who was arrested on March 13th. Prior to engaging in his “act of love,” he was convicted of child molestation in Georgia in 2014. He was subsequently deported, but hey, what’s the harm in trying again? “Border Patrol agents encounter sex offenders, various people with criminal histories in their course of duty nearly every day,” said Border Patrol spokesperson Adrienne Crowley.
“Agents are working every day to make our community safer by getting those people off the streets.” (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); No doubt they are, but our law enforcement officers can only do so much. Without the support of the Obama administration, they are trying to protect a border that is being left increasingly open for business.
And meanwhile, Obama’s rhetoric and executive actions are presenting illegal immigrants with the incentives they need to keep trying their luck. Oh, but we have to welcome them with open arms! We have to show the world that America is not just for the poor, tired, and weary, but also for the felonious and deranged. Gosh, anything else would be positively racist.
Now, it’s been clear for a long time that Democrats in power don’t give a damn about the social-justice ideas they claim to believe in. They are using illegal immigration as a means to an end. But millions of their voters actually do buy into the crap they’re slinging. When Obama compares illegal immigrants to Mary and Joseph, they nod along and cheer, their eyes shining with hope and love. Raised in a culture of political correctness, they can hardly think straight. When they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, this is exactly what they’re talking about.
And it’s going to be the demise of our great nation. We’re so scared to offend anyone that we can’t even talk about illegal immigration in plain, honest terms anymore. Whether Mexico pays for it or not, we need that wall.
