Am I the only one considering changing my voter registration to Independent after this election, thanks to my complete and utter disgust with both branches of the Globalist Party?

I haven't done it in the past because it would have virtually kept me from voting in local elections, but I am now convinced the alleged Republicans don't really want my vote anyhow,so why bother?

When I first moved to Kentucky and eventually changed residence here I was advised to register as a Democrat because 90 percent of the county was. I did so.

After two or three years I changed my registration to Republican which I considered myself a lifelong one.

More recently, maybe ten or more years ago I wanted to change my registration to Libertarian or Anarchist. I found that the only third option was Other which didn't appeal to me at the time, not being able to vote in primaries and such.

So I'm still a registered Pubbie. Guilty as charged. Maybe we could start an Anarchist party in our spare time.

I have considered it.

But I will remain registered as Republican, so I can vote in primaries, for whatever good it may or may not do. In general election, I can still vote however I want.

If a 3rd party were to come on the scene, that I thought might grow in strength, and followed a path I favored, then I might switch.

What's taking you so long? I left the REP Party in CO years ago mainly because the PTB were totally inept and tone deaf to the voters. This year the REP party went a step further and changed the rules so that not even my vote at the caucus would count for anything.

"Colorado Republicans cancel presidential vote at 2016 caucus

Move makes Colorado only state to date to opt out of early nomination process

By John Frank The Denver Post Posted: 08/25/2015 02:06:20 PM MDT201 Comments | Updated: 15 days ago

Colorado will not vote for a Republican candidate for president at its 2016 caucus after party leaders approved a little-noticed shift that may diminish the state's clout in the most open nomination contest in the modern era.

The GOP executive committee has voted to cancel the traditional presidential preference poll after the national party changed its rules to require a state's delegates to support the candidate that wins the caucus vote.

The move makes Colorado the only state so far to forfeit a role in the early nomination process, according to political experts, but other caucus states are still considering how to adapt to the new rule.

"It takes Colorado completely off the map" in the primary season, said Ryan Call, a former state GOP chairman.

Republicans still will hold precinct caucus meetings in early 2016 to begin the process of selecting delegates for the national convention — but the 37 delegates are not pledged to any specific candidate."

My disgust with the National REP Party came to a earlier but I stayed registered in CO because I thought that I had some same in local nominations. Well that proved to be BS as well.

I will not shed a tear for the REP Party if it destroys itself this year as I appears to be on path to do. Hell, I might even vote form Trump just to help f*ck things up as much as I can. Who knows, he might win and provide some much needed comic relief in DC and take gridlock to an elevated level.

No No No. You're not an anarchist. But those in D.C. are anarchists. Obama just chose Merrick Garland to succeed the late Antonnin Scalia. And get this: Garland won't have to go through the FBI background check. Remember FBI agent Gary Aldrich mentioned in his book, Unlimited Access concerning the fact that the Clintons dodged all attempts made to have FBI background checks done on them. And look at the mess they left behind when Bill left office in 2000.

I am already registered independent ;but am thinking of registering GOP now that the NY primary could mean something .

But those in D.C. are anarchists.

I don't think that's accurate.

Those in D.C., they worship the state-establishment that owns them.

You ever been there? The architecture and size of the buildings along the National Mall reminded me of the opening of scene of "Rome":

www.imdb.com/title/tt0384766/

All of the facilities are kept up by an army of civil employees. It's not anarchy, it's socialism for the Oligarchic kleptocrats.

Look at the nice garden they got to each lunch in:

"Free" if you can afford to live there.

That's what's being worshiped and served there - the infrastructure and the bureaucratic machinery that exists to support and run it.

Likewise, they're in the bidness of feeding the mob with bread and circuses. Same ol' --- "when in Rome"

You would just be joining a movement. The Independents outnumber either the the Democrats or the Republicans.

MY not being a registered Rep might not mean nothing to them, but you can be your Trump if just 10,000 per state dropped their R party affiliation it would matter.
