I haven't done it in the past because it would have virtually kept me from voting in local elections,but I am now convinced the alleged Republicans don't really want my vote anyhow,so why bother? To: sneakypete (#0) When I first moved to Kentucky and eventually changed residence here I was advised to register as a Democrat because 90 percent of the county was. I did so. After two or three years I changed my registration to Republican which I considered myself a lifelong one. More recently, maybe ten or more years ago I wanted to change my registration to Libertarian or Anarchist. I found that the only third option was Other which didn't appeal to me at the time, not being able to vote in primaries and such. So I'm still a registered Pubbie. Guilty as charged. No No No. You're not an anarchist. But those in D.C. are anarchists. Obama just chose Merrick Garland to succeed the late Antonnin Scalia. And get this: Garland won't have to go through the FBI background check. Remember FBI agent Gary Aldrich mentioned in his book, Unlimited Access concerning the fact that the Clintons dodged all attempts made to have FBI background checks done on them.
