This country is in desperate need of a "None of the above" voting blocks for candidate. Any time None of the Above wins,the parties running other candidstes MUST be required to hold another election they MUST be required to fund it out of their own coffers or admit defeat.
I can think of no surer way to start getting worthy candidates again.

Maybe for you,not for me. I am DONE voting for candidates I don't want to see in office. I no longer play the lesser of two evils game invented to maintain the status quo.
I MAY be to the point where I will vote for Bubbette! or Trump in order to hasten the revolution. Which,depends on IF Trump is still in the running on election day,and I consider him the most likely one to light the fuse.
Trump is a narcissistic sociopath mama's boy used to getting his way,so there is no doubt he is nuts enough to start the ball rolling on his own,but I suspect he is too crazy. The military would probably remove him from power and call for new elections because he might order them to bomb Canada,just to prove he can. End result,a political revolution that ends with a whimper instead of a bang,and we get some new insider politician installed in place that can be counted on to be subtle enough to keep the people from marching on DC with ropes and pitchforks.
Bubbette! on the other hand is probably just about the right mixture of sane and power mad that she would just try to pass new laws or sign XO's that would cause the people to rise up. Revolutions that rise up from the people are much more effective because the professional political classes aren't leading them and working to pull the plug. They are in hiding and hoping nobody pulls THEIR plug.
In short,a top down semi-revolution caused by a fat Napoleon with orange hair and skin defuses the anger and restores a milder version of what we have now.
A revolution caused by a brain-dead leftist revolutionary might just be the real deal we need to flush those turds down the drain.
Either way I have no hope for America short of revolution.

I will NOT vote for Trump,regardless of who is running against him.
The ONLY exception is if I can be close to 100 percent certain putting him in office would kick off the much-needed revolution.
If all he has to offer is more corruption and incompetence,which are the only things he does well,a President Trump would only guaranteed another 8 years of any creature the Dim would run against him 4 years from now,and if we wait 12 more years,America will be over.
I may even vote for Bubbette! if I am convinced that will help speed up the process. She is actually dumber than Trump,and probably even more incompetent,and has a ego that matches his. IMO.there is an excellent chance she will take things a step to far early,tell the citizens to eat cake,and the party will begin.
