I see him as a guy who is going to manage the "books" right and stop bleeding all this money. To: buckeroo (#6) Here's a big detail he has given often: end the Cold War with Russia, get the US out of paying for NATO, work with the Russians to wipe out ISIS militarily, and be even handed in negotiating a peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Do those things, and defense costs will plummet, saving trillions, balancing the budget, and making everything else easier. And Trump doesn't need Congress to do ANY of that: foreign policy is the purview of the President. He needs Congress to deploy troops, but he doesn't need Congress to order the troops home. Also,I think Trump will alter the course of trade to be more to the benefit of the USA, rather than to foreign nations. If anyone can alter that course, to get companies to move back to the US, it is Trump. If we do not have manufacturing industries, there is no way to build up the middle class, which is vital for the US to have a solid economy.
