This whole Chicago rally where Cruz and all the other Republicans sided with the far leftists disgusted me.
He can always be impeached. I would prefer someone besides the Donald to bust up DC but he's all we have. The twit Rand scampered away as fast as he could, probably to save his donations so he could keep his senate seat.
It's about damn time that Americans started acting like the owners of this country rather than the slaves that they have become.
Drain the swamp and do it over and over again until the bastards start to get it. I favor bringing back drawing and quartering but it's not likely.
Conviction requires 60 votes. Even if all 55 GOP members had voted for conviction, there is no way even one Democrat Senator would have done so.
There were plenty of GOP senators who would have thrown Nixon under the bus. He was told so by his friends. He was going to be impeached and convicted without a doubt if he had stuck around.
And this was because there was evidence that he discussed the idea of possibly covering up a break in he had nothing to do with. There is no evidence at all he planned to go through with it.
