To: All, TooConservative, Vicomte13, A Pole (#0) I fully admit before Trump opened his mouth I dismissed him as a joke on this very forum and the next day after his announcement speech I was all on board the Trump train. You all read that. And why? Because I have been railing against the GOP's false, stupid ideology for the longest time that has fooled people into thinking their economic policies were somehow good for the average working man. Trump, rich billionaire himself saw the same weakness in the GOP ideology and struck out at it. I think it is not a put on either - from the research I did Trump has always been into this ideology he is espousing which is nationalist and nativist. To me the pro business GOP was all about fooling the base with distracting social issues (among other such issues like abortion - they talk and do nothing) so that businesses can outsource and import slave illegal labour. The Great Recession and it's recovery ended the fig leaf I think. Country first. Build the Wall. Fuck Israel and hang the neo-cons.
