Immigration authorities will allow Emadeldin Elsayed, 23, to return home voluntarily instead of deporting him, as long as he departs by July 5. Elsayed has not been charged with a crime but had his visa revoked by the State Department and is being held at a Southern California jail. His lawyer, Hani Bushra, told Immigration Judge Kevin Riley in Los Angeles that he may seek another bond hearing for the aspiring pilot from Cairo because he believes Elsayed's detention is illegal. Bushra said after the hearing that he understands why the Feb. 3 Facebook post led to his client being investigated. But in the absence of criminal charges, Elsayed should be freed, the attorney said. "He's being detained, I think, primarily because he's a Muslim and he's a Middle Easterner," Bushra said, adding that social media sites are teeming with similar comments. "This kid is going to become a poster boy for hating America." Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Elsayed at his Los Angeles-area flight school on Feb. 12, eight days after the Secret Service interviewed him about his post on the Republican presidential front-runner. U.S. officials often use immigration laws to quickly remove people from the country who are suspected of crimes rather than drag out a lengthy prosecution, said Claude Arnold, a recently retired special agent in charge of ICE's homeland security investigations in Los Angeles. "It accomplishes the same goal: You neutralize the potential threat," Arnold said, adding that the goal is to protect Trump and public safety. Threatening a presidential candidate is a crime, regardless of a person's immigration status, Arnold said. "If you are a guest, you are more vulnerable if you do something stupid like that," he said. He has vowed to build a wall along the entire Mexican border and called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S. Elsayed said the agent who interviewed him mentioned last year's shooting rampage by a Muslim couple in San Bernardino and the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, which were carried out by Muslims who had sought flight training in the United States. Elsayed said he would seek a refund of some of the $65,000 he spent to pursue his pilot's license and try to get it elsewhere. Immigration authorities said the flight school tipped off investigators to Elsayed's Facebook post, Bushra said. Why has Glen Beck not been arrested? Why has Cruz not come out and disavowed Beck? Trump should hammer Cruz for being associated with this NUT. Why does Beck still have sponsors? I know some people that are going to start calling all of Becks sponsors, and express their displeasure with them for sponsoring Beck the Nut.

Even though almost all of us realize it was rhetoric at play instead of promise,we just can't allow prominent people with followers to go around saying our political candidates should be murdered. If you let one asshat get away with it,pretty soon they are all getting death threats. Granted,thanks to our open borders and insane refugee and immigration policies we are rapidly becoming a 3rd world country,but we ain't there yet. Why has Cruz not come out and disavowed Beck? Why should he? He's not the one that said it,and he didn't encourage Beck to say it.

For the same logic as used for Trump being asked over, and over, and over again and again to disavow David Duke. Surely you can see the comparison. If good for one, should be good for the other. Beck is the nutso koo koo that Cruz has saddled to him. Cruz should distance himself from nutso Beck, or it could be inferred that he condones Beck & his statements. I think you would agree with the logic in that, even though you do not like Trump.
Say WHAT? Trump basically thanked Duke for the support,and then tried to negate it by claiming he didn't know who David Duke is. Which we all know is total BS. Surely you can see the comparison. If good for one, should be good for the other. I see a comparison,but not a rational one. Did Cruz thank Beck for his support? BTW,NO politician should be forced to apologize for the people who support them with their votes or their money unless they appeared before the group and asked for their support and money. Trump had no control over David Duke donating to him or supporting him,so if he had just not tried to lie and just said "I don't agree with Duke on his racial stand and will not implement any of his suggested policies if elected president" ,he would have been golden. Instead he tried to lie about it.

Then the media started linking him with the KKK,so he then tried to claim he didn't know who David Duke is,despite having had some sort of neutral contact with him in the past. Then he was called on that,and finanllyu ended up saying (truthfully) something along the line of "I am running for public office and am grateful for any votes I can get from individuals,but I did not seek the support of the KKK".
