Trump booed over 9/11 comments

Donald Trump was repeatedly booed by the GOP presidential debate audience Saturday in South Carolina when he criticized former President George W. Bush for failing to keep America safe on Sept. 11, 2001.

"How did he keep us safe when the World Trade Center went down?" the party front-runner said to boos.

"I lost hundreds of friends, the World Trade Center went down during the reign of George Bush. He kept us safe? That is not safe."

Rival Marco Rubio immediately cut in and cast blame on former President Clinton.

"The World Trade Center came down because Bill Clinton didn't kill Osama bin Laden when he had the chance to kill him," Rubio said, referncing the 1993 attack.

In an audio recording of Clinton from the day before the 2001 attacks that wasn't released until 2014, he admitted that he had the chance to kill bin Laden while in office but decided against the strike out of concern for hundreds of civilian casualties.

Trump responded to Rubio's barb by arguing that Bush had the chance to kill bin Laden as well and similarly decided against it.

The comments came minutes after Trump first brought up the 9/11 attacks in a barb with Bush's brother, White House hopeful Jeb Bush.

I am so sick of this crap.

There are many things I may or may not agree on about 911 and and Iraq. I respect those attitudes.

Among those:

The Iraq war should never have been fought. The Iraq war was mismanaged. There were no "real" WMDs found.

However there are other points I find disgusting. That's because You have become a leftard, moonbat, Pink Code, Cindy Sheehan worshiping moonbat.

Among those:

Bush lied, The attack was on Bush's watch (like he was a night watchman in an office building who fell asleep), Bush was in cahoots with the Juze, etc.

I know every fact about this issue and will only serve to embarrass you if you argue with it.

get a life, conspiratrds.

Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president

GWBush deserves all possible ridicule; perhaps it all started during his cocaine days before the National Guard? Moreover, every voter for that pompous ass needs ridicule, as well.

Don't tell us that you voted for him? Not once but twice?

Trump ripped into neocon foreign policy in general, 3 Bush's, 2 Clinton's, Obama. Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria.

It was somewhat like Ron Paul schooling Ruby Giualanni in the '08 debate. Trump is no RP, but at least he's questioning the status quo Bush/Obama/McCain/Hillary neocon insanity.

Busg was a God damned childish halfwit with shallow country club country club affability. His brother is no better, and neither is Rubio. The workings of the real concrete world are alien to such people. They've never been required to become aquaited with that world and consider it a crude unwelcome intrusion to their genteel dinner parties. This is also true of the members of the audience who booed Trump.

I support of back Trump because I think he gas the guts to take on moonbats.

These kind of statements make me think Trump supporters are half wit gas station attendants.

Why do you guys align yourselves with Cindy Sheehan and Code Pink?

Are you fags?

Do you even know what pompous means? Trump is far more pompous than George Dubya Bush.

Bush was actually much too humble for his own good.

Go sleep it off.

Humble? Or simply bewildered by a tough world about which he knew nothing?

Geez, I'm sure not sure who to respond to here.

You've all just just gave Code Pink advertisements.

Or maybe they were from Ron Paul. It's hard to tell the difference.

BTW, I'm nor for Jeb at all. Maybe Rubio.

Mission accomplished was another display of childishness.

GWBush inherited 4Tr in debt from Bill Clinton. By the time GWBush "saved" America from Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, GWBush had placed America into an 8Tr debt.

No known WMD were found. Foreign intrigue is kinda "cool" when a derelict president can do anything he wants to destroy America, don't you think? Don't forget another of GWBush's greatest legacies: The Great Depression of 2008 that lasted four years.

The Bush Administration never requested a mission accomplished banner. In fact, his message in his speech was just the opposite.

And now your hero Obama has put us 18 trillion in debt. BTW, Reagan tripled the debt from Carter. So what's your point?

Go back to Code Pink, fag.

It seems 0bama has a Bush legacy he can stand on, as well ... double the federal government's debt in about eight years. The Replocrat back scratching continues.

You cannot begrudge Democrats a little schadenfreude. There is something undeniably delicious about an erstwhile member of their own fold successfully infiltrating the opposition.

I agree with your statement, but it could be better with a little editing. When your statements are guaranteed to piss people off, it is best to not leave them room to dismiss you because of spelling or grammar errors.

I have another life other than this making demands upon me. Consequently, I make typing errors I don't have time to catch. Additionally, I have an appointment to see a neurologist in the near future because I have severe spinal physical problems that interfere with my typing due to interference with kinesthetic feedback. My ability to walk is also affected. If that bothers you, or anybody else, tough.
