It sounds like science fiction: an unmanned warship patrolling the seas, autonomously searching for enemy submarines. But DARPA is in the business of bringing science fiction ideas to life, and a robotic ship like that is just what the defense research agency plans to launch this April, reported National Defense magazine. The ACTUV (a questionable acronym formed from "Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel") is a 130-foot, 140-ton vessel that, when it departs the coast of Portland, Oregon on April 7, will be the largest autonomous surface vehicle ever deployed.

Hardly. But you must be. The wall is to be built on land. You can not build a wall on water. Besides, we already have the Coast Guard to patrol the oceans. On the southern border, the illegals are walking across the Rio Grande. Yes, that is logical. When the illegal immigrants start hitting the beaches on the Pacific coast, or the beaches on the Gulf coast, I will agree with you. But for now, they are walking across the border, and the wall will stop them there. When they start using boats to land on the beaches, then fine, use the Coast Guard ( ships or helo's ) to blow them out of the water.
