How low can they go? well for those who haven't been there, a long, long way. I have one stock that is today 97% lower than the day I bought it and that was in good times, but this is the correction the market has to have, it is bloated on funny money, the result of years of quantitative easing and I look at stocks with prices above $100, above $50 and laugh because I've seen it all before; the sky rockets, they go bang
The collapse in oil prices makes Teslas more expensive compared to oil-based vehicles. Cheap oil is simply bad for electric cars. I don't see why this is mysterious. It's also likely to be bad for hydrogen vehicles.

They have been discussing using low oil prices to jack up the federal gas and diesel taxes. I bet you could find some Republicans to go along with it. Like Mitch McConnell.
