To: BobCeleste (#0) He was on record as saying he preferred to die rather than be arrested, so I think it's possible that he purposely goaded the police into shooting him. He left the SUV immediately after it stopped, leaving his friends behind, perhaps ensuring they would be out of the line of fire. If he really did put his hands into his jacket, he may have done so expecting it would get him shot. If so, he died by his rules, not those of the police. I expect to hear, on the nightly propaganda hour, that the police have found a body or two.
