Donald Trump’s self-confidence in his drive to secure the Republican presidential nomination is pushing through the roof. In his latest speech he claimed that his voters are smart enough to not abandon him even if he was to kill somebody in broad daylight.

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” Trump said in his campaign speech at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Trump has been leading national polls of Republican voters for months and now holds a lead in the early voting in Iowa caucuses that will be held on February 1.

Trump believes his voters’ loyalty is so strong and competition so weak, that even a random shooting in the middle of a street won’t turn people away from him.

“The people. My people are so smart, and you know what they say about my people? The polls. They say I have the most loyal people. Did you ever see that? It’s, like, incredible,” he said just before making the homicide remark.

While the GOP nomination is half a year away, nothing Trump says seems to hold back his voters, at least according to a tweet which he composed after yet another controversial appearance.

Trump’s Republican rival Texas Senator Ted Cruz did not approve of the billionaire’s choice of metaphorical expression, vowing that during his own campaign he has “no intention of shooting anybody.”

Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks â€¦ golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives â€¦ just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president

Unlike you, I don't worship any of them and I'm smart enough to realize that they are all evil and corrupt.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.

Can you pinpoint the moment this once sage political observer became an unhinged nutjob, like Ron Paul?

Hillary's are so loyal the let her get away with killing an Ambassador plus four others and lie about it to the country, as well as comprising the security of the U.S. with her personal email server.

Let's wait until Trump actually kills someone before we rush to judgment about his supporters.

Heidi Cruz is currently head of the Southwest Region in the Investment Management Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and previously worked in the White House for Condoleezza Rice and in New York as an investment banker for J.P. Morgan. Wikipedia lists Heidi Nelson Cruz as an “investment banker” and a “historical member” of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Heidi Cruz was a member of the CFR-sponsored Independent Task Force on the Future of North America, which was launched in October 2004. The Task Force advocates a greater economic and social integration between Canada, Mexico, and the United States as a North American region.

Comprised of a group of prominent business, political and academic leaders from the U.S., Canada and Mexico, the Task Force was organized and sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations (U.S.), the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, and the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations. Thats funny because bill and hillary have and they are lionized by the socialist/progressives!

Guess it just goes to show that blind loyalty is rampant in both parties, no matter how reprehensible the candidates are.

There are times when Trump's ecstatic attempts at jocularity during moments od elation or celebration are subject to offensive misinterpretation and he would do well to shut his mouth.

Well, he should just shoot a few supporters. It's the only way we'll ever know for sure.

Sadly, Trump is probably right and his groupies would immediately start making up stories about how the victims had it coming.
