In a lot of ways, The Simpsons is one of the most forward-thinking programs on television. Case in point: Fifteen years ago, its writers predicted Donald Trump would run for president. And here we are. In Season 11's 17th episode, "Bart to the Future," we catch a glimpse of what it would be like if Lisa eventually became president. After her first press conference, she retires to the Oval Office, where she opens a meeting by saying, "As you know, we've inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump."
