GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) appeared to walk back his campaign spokesman’s earlier comments about Gov. Sarah Palin’s expected endorsement of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump in Ames, Iowa on Tuesday evening.
Earlier Tuesday morning, Cruz’s spokesman, Rick Tyler, said he thinks endorsing Trump would “be a blow to Sarah Palin” during an appearance on CNN.

That's his story and he's sticking to it. Cruz will have to keep campaigning and let the Palin endorsement subside. Cruz may have to go full-conservative and take on Trump even more directly. OTOH, maybe the word "ethanol" will turn out zombie hordes to hail on Cruz in Iowa. It seems a bit much for the governor to come out, asking for Cruz's defeat to protect the Holy Ethanol, the mother's milk of Des Moines.
