Daesh has taken responsibility for an attack in Indonesia that mirrored the attack on Paris http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-35312794
Indonesia has experienced ongoing islamist militant attacks and this most recent one mirrors the attack in Paris. The tactic appears to be to create a running gun battle and use suicide attacks causing maximum disruption.
The nation however, unlike France, has not gone into lockdown dispite indonesian militants swearing allegience to Daesh. Unlike France, this attack was anticipated as intelligence had suggested an attack was planned
