Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump responded to Nikki Haley’s speech after President Obama’s State of the Union address, arguing that Americans should be angry about what was happening in their country. “People are angry and why shouldn’t they be angry?” Trump said during an interview on the Howie Carr show on WRKO in Boston. Trump cited the insecure Syrian refugee program, skyrocketing premiums under Obamacare, as well as an insecure border and a weakened military as reasons why so many Americans were angry. “You do have anger and you have unbelievable people that are angry. You have good people, you have kind people – kind hearted people – that are angry,” Trump told Carr. “And who wouldn’t be? If you’re intelligent you have to be angry at the way the country is run.” Haley argued in her speech that Americans should resist the “siren call of the angriest voices.” Trump called Haley weak on illegal immigration which wasn’t good for her – if she wanted to serve as a Vice Presidential candidate. “I’m not happy with her about that,” Trump said, referring to her position on illegal immigration. Very good comment, worth repeating. " the establishment needs to reap what they've sown. " Yeah, makes me think of how, after being liberated, the French dealt with the "Quislings"! Si vis pacem, para bellum Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God. There are no Carthaginian terrorists.
Hurrah: I've been saying that for decades. Anger is a legitimate consequence to an injurious or insulting condition. It is present in higher organisms as a measure to produce defense of themselves. What the political left, counterculture, and political playboys seek is a severe condition of pathological repression that will result in in an absence of capability to defend themselves in the population so that they may be abused and sh!t upon with impunity and glee. To a great extent the left and counterculture has achieved in obtaining the repressed condition through constant accusation and beration in the media and through harnessing the inherent submissive pathology which is being promoted in the Christian religion. Trump should gain the presidency if for no other reason than he is practicing sound social psychotherapy among the masses.
Hate? That sort of sophomoric emotionalism is not true at all and is not effective to state within a publick venue. What Americans want is action! We need to get one inch hemp ropes with thirteen knots and hang 'em all high from the tallest oak tree.
Have to admit ,that was a very good response to Haley . He also had a great deflecting response to Cruz's attack on NY . It did not answer the issue Cruz raised about 'NY values' ;but that's besides the point. It was a good response .
