Earlier in the day, Trump ripped the Hateful Eight star as “boring” and said he was “not a fan,” after Jackson claimed in a recent interview to have golfed with the billionaire businessman. Trump added that to the best of his knowledge, he had never played golf with the actor. I don’t know @SamuelLJackson, to best of my knowledge haven't played golf w/him & think he does too many TV commercials—boring. Not a fan. — Donald J. Following a Twitter-thrashing at the hands of Donald Trump on Tuesday, actor Samuel L. Jackson visited Late Night with Seth Meyers Tuesday night and insisted that the Republican presidential frontrunner does indeed know him.

Trump is simply trying to distance himself from a racist who said, “I can't even tell you how much I really wanted (the San Bernardino shooting) to just be another, you know, crazy white dude, and not really some Muslims." Obama did the same with Jeremiah Wright.

Trump is a complete phony. I wanted to give him a chance, I like how he attacks instead of waiting for the attack then apologizing. With that said, the guy is a disaster. He is in position to draw in those that believe in closing the border and America for Americans. I don't believe he believes what he says, it is all purposeful. He gets people to rally to him, then will leave them hanging.

Me and Tom think much the same, two of the non-Trumpers here at LF. OTOH, look at some of the ghastly nominees the GOP has had since Reagan. It's hard to say Trump is so much worse. So I try not to look down my nose at him too much. After nominating a warmongering troll like McStain in 2008, it's hard to say I dislike Trump so much more than the Stain. I think Trump's mouth is out of control. The libmedia is playing it up for Trump now, hoping he'll destroy the GOP entirely (and he might). But if he became the nominee, they'd savage him and tar the entire GOP with "Trumpism".

Well, yeah. But even so, Trump first says he's never played Jackson. Then he says he's a cheater. How would he know if he hasn't played him? The contradiction is obvious and Trump won't explain.
You've heard that Obama cheats at Golf. I assume that. You haven't played him.
