With hashtags from #YallQaeda to #VanillaISIS, Twitter users are having a ball skewering the homegrown militia that took over a federal building in Oregon Saturday.
Around 150 armed protesters holed up in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Burns, rallying against the prison terms doled out to Dwight Hammond Jr. and his son Steven, who were convicted of arson after setting fires on federal land in 2001 and 2006.
Proponents of the self-proclaimed militia have tweeted their support under the hashtag #OregonUnderAttack but opponents have retaliated with some hilarious hashtags of their own.
