Neither are people who became disabled and can no longer work. Where we went wrong was giving it to babies of foreigners because the baby obviously never paid into the system,and neither did their parents. Nor should the government (Dims) ever have been allowed to get away with stealing money from the SS Trust Fund to fund all sorts of government handout programs,and leave the system with a IOU for future generations not even born yet to pay off. BUT......,the blame does not lay on the shoulders of the people who are just taking what they are offered.
