Sunday on Fox News Channels Fox & Friends Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said if the Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton attacks him as sexist, it is fair game to bring up her husband former President Bill Clintons indiscretions.
Trump said. I think hes fair game because his presidency was considered to be troubled, to put it mildly, Because of all the things shes mentioning to me. She actually said sexism, I dont know if you saw the following tweet, but I turned her words against her from that standpoint. Shes got to be careful and fair. We all have to fight fairly and we have to fight for the good of the country, for the good of the people, for the good of everybody. But we have to fight fairly. And shes playing the womans card. Its like, give me a break. I have had so many women come up to me, saying, you have to keep her out. Shes just terrible. Shes playing the womans card left and right. And women are more upset about it than anybody else, including most men.
He added, The pension for sexism was exactly her words and I just turned them and thought it was fine. Yeah, I think that Bill Clinton was, you know, turned out to be a liability against Obama when they ran against each other in 08. He was absolutely, you know, you look at the whole campaign, it was a mess. He said things that were very, very problematic and troublesome. So, you know, certainly Bill Clinton is not going to be the end-all in the campaign. Hell come under attack, not just from me, but hell come under attack from many other people.
Trump tells the truth about the Border, about Trade, about Islam and ISIS, about a corrupt tax code that favors financiers. That's why he's in first place.
It's also why everybody else is panicked and hates him.
He told the truth about Obama's birth certificate.
If Trump is attacked on sexism, when he starts speaking about Bill and Hillary Clinton's sex scandals and abuse of women, it will be the truth on full display, and the people will lap it up.
The Clinton's cannot outbrazen Trump, because Trump has been "P.T. Barnum", in the ring, laughing at himself, his hair, etc., for a decade and a half. But they have hidden their crimes and deflected.
Trump tells the truth, or enough of it that people want to hear, that he's teflon on granite. The Clintons have much to fear if they or their operatives go after Trump, because he's go nuclear over and over, and watch the lovely glow, and the Clinton's can't stand the heat in THAT kitchen.
Even women who don't like Trump prefer to avert their eyes to the Clinton business, but when Trump speaks truths, even people who hate him and hate what he said have a nagging sense that he is pointing out that the emperor has no clothes.
