To: paraclete (#0) The Iraqi forces with US air strikes have succeeded in taking Ramadi but this seems to be a non event here. Because Ramadi won't stay won easily. Even if they hold Ramadi, it will remain a trouble spot. And it is still only a regional capitol. Far more important is Mosul, still in ISIS's hands and they are dug in. A city of over 2 million. To: TooConservative (#1) Far more important is Mosul, so we wait until Mosul is taken before we celebrate a small victory?, When Mosul is taken Iraq will celebrate total victory because they won't be interested in pursuing Daesh into Syria unless they unleash their shiia militia.
