ISIS has recruited experts with chemistry, physics and computer science degrees to wage war with weapons of mass destruction against the West, a shocking European Parliament report has claimed.

The terror organisation, according to the briefing document, 'may be planning to try to use internationally banned weapons of mass destruction in future attacks'.

The document, which was compiled in the aftermath of the deadly attacks on Paris claimed that ISIS has already smuggled WMD material into Europe.

Experts fear that ISIS will be able to exploit a failure of EU governments to share information on possible terrorists.

Already, British police forces have been conducting exercises on how to deal with various types of terrorist attack. But the EU report claims that government should 'consider publicly addressing the possibility of terrorist attack using chemical, biological, radiological or even nuclear materials'.

A ricin attack would seem most likely. Carefully planned, it could kill hundreds and create real panic.

Anthrax and the lesser chemical weapons are also within the reach of ISIS techs. And minor radiological attacks, likely using medical isotopes from the region against financial centers, landmarks, government centers.

It's been tried before but never by a serious organization. It isn't quite as easy as most people think.

The Weathermen tried to blackmail some gay military guy at Fort Detrick to get a bioweapon to use in a city water supply back in 1970. A few teens were arrested for plotting to put typhus bacteria in Chicago's water supply in 1972. In 1985 there was a kerfuffle over a "letter writer threatens to contaminate New York City's water reservoirs with plutonium unless charges against Bernhard Goetz are dropped; testing was announced to have detected femtocurie levels of plutonium in the water on 26 July". I'm not sure how much of a threat that really was.

Poisoning food and water supplies can be a good way to kill a few people, but also cause terror, like in terrorism.

Things like subway bombings or gas attacks (like the one in Japan) would have a bigger impact.

You could resort to more subtle food and water attacks. Like a slow cumulative poison that slowly builds in the body, as a result of contaminated fresh produce from Central and Latin America. By the time it is discovered, you could have a lot of sick panicked people. You would need a harmful substance that the body cannot eliminate, along the lines of dairy hormones like BGH and bST, stuff that the human body cannot eliminate. You might also target particular diseases like kidney disease or diabetes or G.I. diseases, to tip people who are susceptible to the condition into having the full-blown disease. Again, this might happen before the authorities become aware of the threat. An attack like this would become known to the government and the public in much the same way that HIV/AIDS became known back in the Eighties.

I guess my point is such things would be an irritant building up to a greater sense of anxiety. It would take away any sense of security. People start worrying about their family. People would have to devote resources to detect or guard against poisonings. All in All, it can get nasty.

They could develop a technology so well that if they just put a drop of chemicals into the air everyone will automatically become slaves with chains and United States will become an Islamic state.

Not a sparrow falls without the Father's permission. I'm not going to die one breath sooner than God decides, and I'm not going to take one breath more than God wills. Therefore, as regards death, the only thing that concerns me is the process of getting through the curtain. I would prefer that it not be excessively horrible and painful. But peaceful or painful, it's all the same thing - at a certain point your breath leaves you, and the spirit goes through the grey curtain to the other side, and there it will face Gan Eden until the resurrection, or Gehenna until the last penny of unforgiven sin is paid, then Gan Eden. Then the resurrection, final judgment and the City of God ... or the Lake of Fire.

So, big picture, I already know what is going to happen. The rest is just details. And if God decides that some terrorist is going to cut my thread with a bio-weapon, well, than that's how I go through the curtain. If not that, then car crash, heart attack, cancer, whatever. From my perspective it's all pretty much the same. And therefore I don't get exercised worrying about such things. God is in charge. If the bio-bombs go off, God is still in charge. The people who detonate bio-bombs have probably doomed themselves in ways that are incalculably bad for them. All they will have done for me is send me to Paradise sooner.

Well I argue with the people on the interwebz and have rather terrible habits I'd like to cleanse off myself before God sees me face to face

God sees your face everyday all the time. Nothing is hidden from him. He already knows. So stop worrying about it. Forgive others and you will be forgiven. Resist the sins you can, apologize for the ones you don't, and forgive everybody else who is likewise weak.
