Townhall’s Guy Benson reported Boxer’s assertion in a tweet, quoting her as saying, “Sensible gun laws work. We’ve proven it in California.” This quote comes one day after other Democrats–President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Martin O’Malley–also seized on the San Benardino attack to push gun control and, in the case of O’Malley, bash the NRA. In fact, Clinton and O’Malley both tweeted for more gun control before the gunman and gunwomen had even been identified. Clinton tweeted: “I refuse to accept this as normal. We must take action to stop gun violence.” I refuse to accept this as normal. But the law was ineffectual in preventing the attack by Farook and Malik. 
On December 3–the day after Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik carried out California jihad in San Bernardino–Senator Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) said “sensible gun control works,” and she cited the example of California to prove it.

She defines "sensible gun laws" as gun laws that allow HER and her family members to carry concealed and loaded weapons,and no one not from her social class. Hell,she even has a NYC CCW permit and doesn't even live there or have rental property. Back in the 70's or 80's she was reported back stage at SNL showing off her concealed carry 38 revolver to her admiring fans. News of that leaked out,people wanted to know why she wasn't arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in NYC,and that's when it came out the mayor had given her a CCW permit that damn few NYC residents can get. They did the same thing to Harry Connick,Jr less than ten years ago. He flew to NYC to accept some sort of award,and knowing he liked guns,they have him a presentation grade 9mm autoloader (Browning,P-35,IIRC). He was later arrested at JFK for trying to take it aboard a airlner in defiance to local and federal laws. The Mayor stepped in and had both local and federal charges dropped,and they even gave him back his pistol and apologized to him for arresting him. This is what you have to understand about the left. Gun laws are for people like thee and me,not for them. Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority?
