The Democratic National Committee (DNC) renewed its push for Syrian refugees to be admitted to the United States on Thursday morning, less than 24 hours after the San Bernadino shooting. The two main suspects are Muslims, one originally from Pakistan. In a statement published Thursday, DNC chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL)reports on a conference call held Wednesday, in which she and other Democrats bashed Republicans over the refugee issue, which they compared to Jews fleeing Nazi Europe. The comparison has been debunked thoroughly, but Wasserman Shultz insisted on sticking to it. “We have seen this movie before. In May 1939, the SS St. Louis left Hamburg, Germany carrying more than 900 passengers, nearly all of them Jewish and seeking refuge in the United States. Our country turned them away, and many who were sent back to mainland Europe were killed in the Holocaust. Instead of learning from that mistake – Republican candidates and politicians were eager to repeat it,” she said. In addition, Wasserman Schultz blasted Republicans for criticizing radical Islam–for “demonizing an entire religion,” in her words. “The sort of rhetoric we saw from candidates, whether it was Donald Trump calling for a database of Muslim-Americans, or Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) saying we need to shut down “not only mosques” but “cafes and diners,” where Muslims congregate in response to terror, was shameful, embarrassing, and dangerous,” she said. (Trump did not, in fact, call for a Muslim database.) The DNC release was timed to upstage with a Republican Jewish Coalition forum for presidential candidates in Washington, DC. Democrat strategist Jim Gerstein told the call: “The RJC attempts to drive a wedge between the parties on Israel, using Israel as a partisan issue, because it is all they’ve got. It is very clear that attempting to make Israel a partisan issue is bad for US/Israel relations, it is bad for Israel and it is bad for the American Jewish Community. Support for Israel is, and must remain, bipartisan.”

If the Jews on the St; Louis had been part of a religious group that had launched terror attacks all over Germany, the Americans would have been completely right to send them back. Muslim refugees are more akin to Nazi Germans fleeing from the Soviets into Allied lines.

Valid comparisons are not a strong suit of liberals. Distorting comparisons is their strength. They never let the facts get in the way of good propaganda and talking points.
In comparing todays refugees to Jews escaping from naziasm, it she not saying the islam in islamic countries is similar to nazis and should be demonized? Islam is a sadistic incurable communicable mental illness that is the sworn enemy of anybody or anything non islamic. It has proven that over many centuries.
AND at the same time, their empirical leader Obunghole, along with hild a beast & other demonturds is calling for more gun control. I heard Rush commenting on this talking about how politically stupid this is, this close to elections. I agree, we can only hope that this turns out to be political suicide for their party. It may be only anecdotal, but I have several friends, and family members that are staunch demonturds. They have all expressed that they will not vote for demonturds anymore because of this. One told me " F-em it might be me or one of my kids or grandkids that those damn muzzie monkeys kills next time. " Another told me that " F the union, I will not vote for those SOB's. If they & their pet monkey want the guns that I protect my family with, I will give them one bullet at a time. " I will be the first to admit that most Republicans are turds, but the demonturds are ALL POS. So I hope this all leads to a "Little Big Horn" for the demonturd party! I have read in the Bible where God brought down leaders by giving them a great delusion. Maybe that is what is happening to the demonturd leaders? Time will tell. I don't hope that. Truth is, the Republican Party is awful, and is controlled by crony capitalists. If the Democrats go into the sewer then the crony capitalists have a much easier time holding onto the GOP, and that is bad news for America. We need a strong babykiller party so that the Republicans have to actually APPEAL TO PEOPLE to win, not simply win because the enemy falls apart.
Good points all. I have given up hope on the GOP being reformed, and have no expectations of a strong 3rd party. I am convinced the nation is going down the drain. These are either Muslims or Muslims sympathizers who are saying these things. People have to understand that we are at war with the Muslims and they will try anything to convince people that there are only extremists who are to blame for these things and that the Muslim next door is innocent and peace-loving. These Muslims who are killing us are all next door to other Americans. When the Muslims are outnumbered in a country, they work in different ways than when they begin to be prominent in the population. Why is Obama trying so hard to bring more Muslims into this nation? In years gone by, wars were fought by densly packed armies pitted against each other. With the advancement of air power and nuclear weapons such battlefield formations are impossible. Modern wars and conquest are best achieved through: 1)Immigration of diffuse groups into a nation where they can eventually be formed by a loose network of gueriila fighters united by purpose. 2) A coordinated public relations campaign denying that item (1) is the intent and that acy acts of violence are only the actions of a small misunderstood minority. Establish an image of victimhood for attackers and brutal victimization by defenders that morally immobilizes their defence. That's Obama's game plan and he's winning.
Part of that game plan is to disarm the American people. The sheeple are totally lost in this war. They can't relate to it or often even know what is going on around them.
