The video doesn't lie. Trump says “Now the poor guy, you ought to see this guy,” before he goes into his mocking of Serge Kovalski's physical problems . Kovaleski covered Trump as a reporter for years here in NY for the 'NY Daily Snooze' . Kovaleski met with Trump and had face to face interviews and questioned him at press conferences during that time. The reason this became an issue is because the man with the greatest memory in the world insists he saw thousands upon thousands of Muslims celebrating the downing of the WTC towers on 9-11. “Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Oh there were rumors of people dancing in the streets of Jersey City and Patterson. But John J. Farmer Jr.,the New Jersey attorney general, (and later went on to serve as senior counsel to the Sept. 11 commission), ordered an investigation that very day and found the reports to be bogus. Farmer also debunked rumors that US jets were in hot pursuit of the 9-11 planes before they crashed into their targets . You're full of it. Trump wasn't making fun of the dumb ass. That is just how Trump uses body language. So you establishment types should stop making stuff up. Does Rubio have arthrogryposis also? 16:40 about
So what are you saying ;he can't control himself ? The gestures were ridiculous and if they weren't an intentional mocking of the reporter's disability ,then it was quite a coincidence that his evidently out of control body language ,contorting his arms and flailing them, appeared to be mocking him. Trump also lied about never meeting Kovaleski ,then he attacked him for ‘‘using his disability to grandstand.’’ But how would he know if the report was ‘‘written by a nice reporter’’,if he'd never met him before ? Finally Trump deflected criticism by attacking the paper Kovaleski works for . We don't permit children to mock a handicapped person but it's ok for a Presidential candidate ?
Parts of that could be explained away, not all of it. I'm sure that archives are being searched now for any photos of Trump and the reporter, interviews scrutinized, etc. So we'll hear soon if Trump did know him or not. Trump gets photographed constantly in any public setting. I think Trump has already topped out in his support but his fans are diehards who won't abandon him, no matter what. He could kick a puppy and they'd claim the puppy was going for his throat or something.
