House Republicans introduced a bill earlier this week that would require the Transportation Security Administration to accept certain gun carry permits as valid forms of identification. The Nondiscriminatory Transportation Screening Act, introduced by Reps. Diane Black (R., Tenn.) and Bill Flores (R., Texas), would reverse TSA policy regarding the permits. TSA policy currently excludes gun permits as an acceptable form of ID. “A weapon permit is not an acceptable form of identification,” the TSA’s guide on identification states.

Another strikeout for the Republicans they should be targeting/eliminating currently acceptable forms of ID that are really easy to come by or be forged... My feelings are why would you want to show TSA your CCW license in the first place, that's just asking for trouble with those idiots... You would automatically looked upon as if you are a terrorist instead of a law abiding citizen...
DHS and its TSA puppet are threatening (and repeatedly backing down) to disallow air travel with driver's licenses from Montana and other states that have refused to alter their DLs to match the fed's "Real ID" standards. This complicates the DHS drive to overcome states' nullification of the federal DL ID requirements.
Show me what the Feds are wanting if you don't mind...
