Here is how: You must first find a Masonic lodge location near you, contact them, and ask for a petition. ------ There are 3 lodges located in the town of 10,000 people where I live. That's right -- 3 in a town of 10,000. And yet I never see any activity at all in any of them. I can't find anybody who admits to being a Mason. However, the grounds and buildings are always kept quite well. I'm just sayin'.... And when I go to the mason website to inquire about lodges in my town, i get this message: --------------- Sorry - Page not found We are sorry, the page that you are seeking is not available or does not exist. Do not worry though. We can get you back on track. ---------------- Does this have anything to do with the Jooz?

Never heard that one after all these years. Source? We had a presentation on Purgatory today at Mass. Forgot a lot about that one too.
You need to think about what you are told and disregard rubbish. keeping short accounts with God is the way to go

Yep, you nailed it! They do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior and in their rituals they never refer to Jesus Christ but instead the Grand Architect of the Universe.
I know many Mason's and am related to one. My best friend is a Mason, he definately believes in God. They keep a Bible in every lodge, in a very prominent location. It's a social thing, nothing more, nothing less.
Lol, many of them have fundraisers on Saturday, like a pancake breakfast. You can go meet them, hang out.... They aren't hiding...however, if one comes across as a weirdo, as many here would, lol, you may not be invited to go home with them to meet their family.

My father was a 32nd degree Mason. When in my early teens I read his copy of the secret book Masons have, "Morals and Dogma." I found it not subversive, but irrelevant and filled with pretentious jargon that was primarily an exercise of the mind to be passed to obtain the various degrees. I would not care to join because I think it is childish, although they do some good work.

Exactly my take on it, and I have been told I could be one had I expressed an interest. They do some very good things, not just the Shriners, but most all Lodges offer scholarships and such. (And no, to be eligible for them, you don't need to worship satan or know someone in the lodge...) People in the world are so friggen dogmatic it's amazing, check some of the tight asses just in this thread.

I just find it curious that there are 3 lodges in this small town, and I have never seen any evidence that anybody is ever at any of them (no cars are ever parked there, I never see the door open, etc.) Yet they all still bear the Mason symbol and the buildings and grounds are always maintained. Could be a number of reasons for that, most lodges have two meetings a week, with some functions on weekends. However, many lodges have experienced a huge drop off in membership in the last 20 years, people have much more choices in how to spend their free time with the advent of computers etc.... I would imagine that is the problem with these lodges, given how it sounds like your town would struggle to even have a decent number of members to support one. But, that's just a guess.
I've certainly never met anyone here who claimed to be a Mason, although I have seen a few cars with the symbol on their back windshield.

Okeedokee, you have lots of company. Myself? If someone isn't bothering me, why should I care if they want to take part in play acting etc? But, that's just me...... am bothered by things that affect me and my family, other stuff is meaningless to me, and I can't figure out why some people get so worked up over it. Perhaps an overpowering need to control others?

I know that because I have seen their big bible they have placed at the podium. I have even asked one of their members of all the Gods they invoke, what about Jesus Christ. The response given to me was "No, not Jesus Christ". And they have the gall to say they are not a religious organization. Not only are they a religious organization but their organization denies Jesus Christ as the one true God. I don't know about you, but the only way to get to Heaven is through Jesus Chris. There is no other way and Jesus himself said this in scripture. Also, the bible prohibits us from taking of secret oaths and enjoining with these masons. They are not of the same yolk and therefore, we as God-fearing people should have nothing to do with them. They believe they are doing a good service to this society but what they really after is our souls. You will find them as your preachers, and even sitting in your churches. They walk in darkness because their ways are not the way of Jesus Christ.

Unlike the members and their serving Officers, the Deputies do not take these "playbooks" lightly at all. They are supposed to abide by their Lodge By-laws and Membership Conduct.

To lead people to think they have more time to repent then they do. It does a disservice to lie. Just like the catholics violate Gods law by calling the pope holy father. My problem with purgatory is what you posted. It denies the completed, finished Work of Christ. It also ignores the truth of "Whose" righteousness is acceptable to the Father.
