New World Order Title: Jeff Sessions: Kill The ‘Anti-Democratic’ Trans-Pacific Partnership In The Crib, Repeal Fast-Track Authority Now [5,554 pages] Jeff Sessions: Kill The Anti-Democratic Trans-Pacific Partnership In The Crib, Repeal Fast-Track Authority Now by Matthew Boyle Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committees Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, is calling for the immediate destruction of the 5,554-page Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trans-global trade deal introduced on Thursday. The text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership runs 5,554 pages, Sessions said in a statement provided to Breitbart News. In the next part of the detailed statement calling for the TPPs annihilation, Sessions walks through several troubling rules and regulations contained throughout its thousands of pages. Sessions added that the text of this dealwhich is actually bigger than Obamacare and the Senate Gang of Eight amnesty bill combinedconfirms Americans fears about it, specifically the creation of a new global governance structure similar to the European Union. Sessions says: · consider any proposal to amend or modify this Agreement; · supervise the work of all committees and working groups established under this Agreement; · merge or dissolve any subsidiary bodies established under this Agreement in order to improve the functioning of this Agreement; · seek the advice of non-governmental persons or groups on any matter falling within the Commissions functions; and · take such other action as the Parties may agree. Further, the text explains that the Commission shall take into account: · relevant developments in international fora; and · input from non-governmental persons or groups of the Parties. Sessions goes on to note that the new global governance structure is open-ended and has no bounds. Sessions says: Sessions compares the enormous size of the deal to Jonathan Swifts epic novel, Gullivers Travels, and argues that Americans are elevating third world bureaucrats to their level in an unfair way that empowers the elites of the worldeffects on ordinary people be damned. These 5,554 pages are like the Lilliputians binding down Gulliver, Sessions said. Sessions said this isnt just a trade agreement or even a full-fledged treaty. Its the creation of a new global governing structure akin to the European Unionone that cedes U.S. sovereignty to a yet-to-be-created international governing body. At bottom, this is not a mere trade agreement, Sessions said. It bears the hallmarks of a nascent European Union. It is another step towards a world where people, goods, and services can travel freely across international boundaries and a world where those boundaries mean less and less every day. Sessions also called for the immediate repeal of Trade Promotion Authority (TPA)or fast trackwhich will, if this deal follows the fast track barely approved earlier this year, grease the skids ensuring its passage. Senators are powerless to stop the massive deal if the deal is on the fast-track. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top Page Up Full Thread Page Down Bottom/Latest

5,554 pages. What congress critter will say they read this monstrosity before voting upon it?
There are some who will lie and say they did and also forget to say they were paid to vote for it...
Vegetarians eat vegetables. Beware of humanitarians!
You call the TPP anti-democractic yet it is supposed to boost american employment and domination. Trade agreements by their nature confer obligation and it is most likely that the other 11 partners are far more obligated than the US. The US has tried to enforce their views on patents, pharmaceuticals, climate change and many other matters through this and other agreements, but most signatories are in favour to liberalise trade www.smh.com.au/business/t...ing-partners-release-tpp details- 20151105-gks42c - After 5 years of negotiations the US wants to change it because what's in it is what others could agree too. You don't get a second chance, either your negotiators had authority or they did not. The things the US want to change are the things that others would not agree too and if the US has lost soveriegnty it is because they never had that soveriegnty in other nations This has got to be a good thing because you will buy less from China
Sessions for president!
Yes. And hang those that vote for it! Si vis pacem, para bellum Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.
0bama is making you feel free with his wordsmithing and you are denying it; besides, you are just jealous of his Nobel Peace Prize.
I did? I do not know what is in the 5,554 pages and don't know anyone who does, and do not expect any congressman will actually know what all they are voting on when the vote comes. The process is undemocratic. Putting 5,554 pages of legalese on a Fast-Track to an up or down vote, with no proposal of amendments, means it will be voted on without fully appreciating what is in it. Something like the Obamacare monstrosity. As long as you put it that way, they did not have authority to make any binding agreement. That is why it must go to the Congress. This has got to be a good thing because you will buy less from China I have no idea what you are talking about re U.S. sovereignty in other nations. The idea that the U.S. will import less from China or elsewhere due to another one of these trade agreements runs counter to reality. To go to an American store and find all those things marked "Made in U.S.A.," one needs to borrow Bill and Ted's most excellent phone booth.
It is absolutely liberalating. Yes, I wanted to be recognized as a peacemaker of his renown. His achievements of peace in Iraq and the Middle East in general are without equal.
