KY has a 20-point Dem voter registration advantage. And Conway is a good candidate.
I think the Obama era in general has forced Kentucky voters to reassess voting Dem for state offices but voting GOP in Congress.
The recent Kim Davis flap might have weighed on voters' minds too.
The only other state where I'd look for similar movement to the GOP is West Virginia. I look for them to go full GOP sooner than later. They simply have nothing in common with the Dems (who hate them and their guns and their coal).

Yes. I do not think Dems will dominate that state any longer. Besides guns & coal, West Virginia has a lot of Christians.
Oblabula and his brain dead dem followers have pissed in the cheerio's there, and elsewhere also.

What good is it ? The Republicans again dominate at the state level . With Matt Bevins win in Kentucky ,Republicans now hold 32 of the nation's governorships .Then they take on the entrenched Democrat interests and defeat them ,introducing needed reform to their state .
But when it's time for them to take the plunge into a national contest , all of a sudden they get cannibalized on charges of being a sell out . We keep on saying our strength is in the governorships ;and that we have a deep bench .But we don't act like it .
