To: Deckard (#0) Silly video hoax, made using pro video painting software which is commonly available. As it was a century ago, we still make special effects by painting one frame at a time. I would estimate that I could recreate this hoax in 2-4 hours. Masking the road surface in the left lane into a continuous background layer would take most of the time. Then you just create the glow and paint the "disappearing car" out of the rest of the frames. Conceivably, you could even do this with Photoshop itself but it would be much more tedious than using one of the pro video paint tools. Any number of viral hoax sites (like PrisonPlanet/InfoWars) could give this as a project to their graphics artists and get the same results in a few hours.
