COLFAX, Calif. (INTELLIHUB) — An exclusive video obtained by the Nevada County Scooper appears to show something out of the ordinary–but doesn’t end just there. Shockingly, adding an ominous vibe to the whole situation, the Nevada County Scooper reported: “The video […] was anonymously delivered to the Scooper offices [and was] contained on a 32GB flash drive and sealed in a plain, bubble-wrapped manila envelope […]” Additionally it was reported that small note was stuffed inside the envelope reading: “I have more where this came from. I am risking my life to share this with you. The transformation has begun. All is clear for the relocation. Pray.” While for obvious reasons, namely the invention of Photoshop, Intellihub can not confirm nor deny the authenticity of the video or its source. However, we are rather leaving it up to you, the reader, to decide. Strange things afoot on U.S. Interstate?

Yes highly likely the footage has been tampered with particularly as there are some changes in continuity, on the other hand no doubt it is possible to enhance the image, obtain the licence plate, and check with the owners of the vehicles concerned but then, perhaps there is a portal on that strip of roadway and sooner or later we will all be sucked into a black hole

An episode from Fringe?
Silly video hoax, made using pro video painting software which is commonly available. As it was a century ago, we still make special effects by painting one frame at a time. I would estimate that I could recreate this hoax in 2-4 hours. Masking the road surface in the left lane into a continuous background layer would take most of the time. Then you just create the glow and paint the "disappearing car" out of the rest of the frames. Conceivably, you could even do this with Photoshop itself but it would be much more tedious than using one of the pro video paint tools. Any number of viral hoax sites (like PrisonPlanet/InfoWars) could give this as a project to their graphics artists and get the same results in a few hours.

The partnership seeks to put an end to decades of tragic fatal alcohol-related incidents along Nevada County roadways, particularly along the Highway 49 corridor.
It's a spoof site. And you posted it seriously here at LF. So you are the idiot who posted it without realizing it is a spoof site. And I am smarter than you because I actually checked your lousy source, as unrewarding as that little habit has proven to be. The real shocker here is how gullible you really are.
