LEAKED!!! Jeb Bush :“2- Race will remain fluid for some time because... voters have A.D.D.” (Jeb Bush Campaign Blueprint)

I thought the headline might be a mischaracterization but...

At page 3: "2- Race will remain fluid for some time because... voters have A.D.D."

And the following showing the credit card hit on Rubio may have caused the response leak of the Bush talking points.

At page 19: "Misuse of state party credit cards, taxpayer funds and ties to scandal-tarred former Congressman David Rivera takes away line of attack on Hillary Clinton."

And what makes this sad is both Jeb and Rubio are in single digits in the early primary/caucus states. So is JEB! trying to get a few more single digits to break to double digits?:)

Bizarre really.

So basically Jeb can't pick on Carson because he is black (in his thinking) or Trump (because that always backfires) so he picks on the nerdy kid because he can.

How pathetic.

The nerdy kid is threatening to separate his mentor from major donors, dooming Jeb! to an ignominious political end. It's beginning to look like a mud fight to the death. The Mitt Romney crew may have unearthed some dirt on Rubio when vetting him for the VP slot. Remember the mudslinging W did (technically Karl Rove) in South Carolina about McCain's supposed illigimate black child? The Bushes talk about compassion and love, but they fight dirty.

They already shot their wad about Rubio. Essentially it comes down to 1. he got into some financial problems that he evidently solved . 2. He is campaigning so he misses some insignificant roll call votes. 3.(here's the biggies) he tried to be part of a compromise on so called comprehensive immigration policy. When that failed he decided that the path to immigration reform had to start with border control. But his big sin was trying .

Correct. Neither he nor Bush would be likely to attract the anti-establishment support. A lot of conservatives would be likely to stay home or vote third party. I guess the hope is that would be offset by those who go to the polls to vote against Hillary. The PTB would be happy with Hillary, Bush or Rubio.

The anti-establishment has a tough choice. If you believe they were pivotal in giving us the emperor's reign ,then what will the country look like after 8 years of Evita ? Have we been better off than we would've been with a McCain or Romney presidency ? Anyone who answers something other than 'hell no!!!' should put on their Bernie Sanders campaign button.

IMO Rubio's attempt to do his job should not be a disqualifier . The most relevent question is 'which Repubican candidate is electable' ? That will be decided in the coming months .

I question whether we would have been better off had we had eight years of GOPe presidency, effectively another two terms of W.

In many measurable way, the answer is yes. But if this is what it took to wake the people up and kick the establishment candidates to the curb, we are better off. Continuing with Dems and indistinguishable GOPe Pubbies will lead to bankruptcy and a world financial meltdown. We have multiplied the debt by 18 since Carter left office. It will be over 20 before Obama leaves office.

In my opinion, nominating an electable candidate who will not effect change, is not the best answer. The controversial decisions of the Supreme Court that everyone has come to know and love have been handed down by a Court with a majority nominated by Republican presidents. I am all for getting some more real conservatives of the bench, and finding them somehwere other than NY/CA and Harvard/Yale. I would like a president who will stand up for fiscal responsibility and conservative values. I think Rubio may be electable, but he would not be my among my preferred choices.

He's not my 1st choice either . I would suggest however that Mr Trump's 'Art of the Deal ' and Rubio's trying to work with the other side is pretty much the same thing. Reagan said "Die-hard conservatives thought that if I couldn't get everything I asked for, I should jump off the cliff with the flag flying - go down in flames. No, if I can get 70 or 80 percent of what it is I'm trying to get I'll take that and then continue to try to get the rest in the future."

Now as for the conservatives on the SC ;by any measure 3 of them are solid picks ;Scalia (Reagan appointee) ,Thomas (GHW Bush appointee) ,Alito (GW Bush appointee) .Two of the 3 are appointees by the Bush Presidencies. The other 2 'conservatives ' are the so called swing vote Anthony Kennedy ,who was Reagan's 3rd choice after the failure of the Bork and Ginsberg nominations . He has sided with the conservatives on a number of decisions ,but he also takes a very libertarian view on social issues. Chief Justice Roberts (GWBush appointee} has been a major failure . That's because he lied through his teeth during his nomination ,and has made decisions that go counter to his judicial history before his appointment . The answer to the court I believe is term limits ,and Congress reigning in some of the power that the court seized in 'Marbury v Madison'.

On this criteria, Ted Cruz sort of stands out, but his electability is a question. I would like to see what a few debates with Hillary could do. I few debates with a thinned out GOP primary field may also highlight his debating skills.
