I don't know what role the lord has for me in all this. I do know that looking at prophecy that the United States will play a big role. That there has to be a return first to a religions awakening and more then likely any persecution particularity of the Sabbath will come from the right not from the left and people will get a little get a little bit over zealous and then they will say see how much better things are now that we came back to god and we need to go completely back to him and we need to and you know they are going to go overboard.
I am surprised he made that statement. The rest of his talk as recorded on YouTube was fine. I would like to hear the rest of his talk. Did he misspeak? What meeting was this?
Answer: The United States of America is never explicitly mentioned in the Bible. In regard to the end times, the only nation the Bible seems to be concerned with, specifically, is Israel. Revelation does not mention any countries or nations, other than Israel (Revelation 7:4; 21:12). It mentions Babylon (Revelation 14:8; 16:19; 17:5; 18:2,10,21), but beyond that, it does not name specific places. Bible scholars debate whether this refers to a literal city of Babylon or whether Babylon is being used symbolically. Again, Israel is the focus of end-times Bible prophecy.
Why is the United States of America never mentioned in Bible prophecy? This could be for several reasons: (1) Perhaps the United States does not play an important role in the end times. (2) Perhaps the United States does not exist any more once the end times begin. (3) Perhaps the United States is included with all the other nations that reject God in the end times (Revelation 10:11; 11:18; 12:5; 14:8; 15:4; 16:19; 17:15; 18:3,23; 19:15). Option (3) is the most likely answer. The United States of America is the biggest supporter of Israel in the world today. This might not always be the case.
Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.

The U.S. Isn't mentioned by name. There are references in prophecy to general locales and a few specific locations. Prophecy is becoming more understandable as we get closer to the End Times. This is something on which I really wouldn't become too dogmatic.
All of the candidates agree with the immigration issue. The U.S. Is totally messed up. I didn't watch the debate. It really doesn't matter who becomes the President, and I really, really don't want to listen to these people.
Yes I did not know a business news channel had so many socialists on staff. No wonder our economy is tanking.
The vote was closed by the time I went there. However the snap poll had Trump on top, then I think Carson and then Cruz.
JEB! is in deep doo doo. He spent his time going after Rubio. Which some found odd. Not so IMO. Jeb was after Rubio because that is his donor competitor.

Not a surprise. The WSJ's opinion pages are totally dominated by Republican writers - not even one real house liberal to be seen - but all its financial pages other than the opinion pages are standard NYC liberal Dem stuff. Truly died-in-the-wool northeast liberal/Leftist types.
